each to their own I guess and I would expect the gender/s equipped with a hose would aim for the drain not whizz it around on the walls, screen/curtains or soap dish
Sounds like an interesting AI prompt?
I did make a toilet with an opening lid/seat as part of a bathroom environment (my first ever product) but at the time Daz wasn't interested in carrying it, so I released it on another store. Most of the props in that environment are standalone so they can be used in other sets relatively easily. My vendor name in the other storefront is Wibble, in case anyone wants to go hunting for it.
That said, I'm working on a new environment that hopefully will be on the Daz store when it's done, and there will be equivalent toilets in the bathrooms of that environment.
@gcjellyfish, thanks for the headsup. And one thing you can count on with props/sets with customers is that they love objects that open or operate as they would in real life (within reason). Drawers and cabinets doors opening. Refrigerator doors, shelves, ovens, cupboards, ... A fully realized environment for someone who wants to use it for a series or film. Even if you can release the rooms a bit at a time, but so they fit together or can be arranged as needed would be gratefully received. Dog doors that swing also welcomed. :-)
I'd say that I'm totally baffled as to why DAZ wouldn't pick up this set, given how it compares to other products that have been released as of late... but I've pretty much given up on trying to figure out why some things get passed over and some of the things that get in the store get in. Maybe you should have put a pirate in the promo illustrations? In either case, you idid just get a sale from me over at Rendo, so there's that. :)
I won't pretend I wasn't disappointed by their decision at the time. But, I've come to appreciate that the marketing folks at Daz really do have a pretty good idea about what will sell and what won't. I certainly harbor no hard feelings about it. I still remain proud of that environment even though it has not been much of an earner. :) And my next environment will be something rather different. But I appreciate the support, Cybersox :) I hope you find some useful stuff in there.
This set has two toilets, both the lid and the seat can be raised :D

Sorry for being late to the party. I think only guys can use the toilet without a seat when doing #1.
The house looks really good
Things like this happen ;-)
Today only [so far]

haaaaaaaaa.. you beat me to it... by minutes... As soon as I saw this gift I thought of this thread... EVERYONE should be happy now! LOL
GCJellyfish is the savior in need, a true hero of culture! Finally, the toilet seat misery has come to an end. PAs no longer need to waste their precious creativity on toilet seats, and their customers no longer need to write long threads about the lack of this important item ;-) The deep gratitude of the community is assured to GCJellyfish!
Somebody definitely has a sense of humour, either to commission it or do it off their own backs. Love it.
It may have a life after the advent calendar. It's the first advent freebie item that I've seen with a pre-discount price greater than $0.10.
Regards,
Richard
It's definitely an appreciated necessity. Finally, a toilet seat!
Tried explaining this running joke to someone who is a non-DAZ user, and how wonderful it was to get a functional toilet seat. Let's just say, I received a weird look once the story was complete.
Or maybe a render of something like this pose just with the seat and no porcelain..
Regards,
Richard
I'm already thinking about which extravagant shaders I could try out on the thing.
Grab todays freebie - it is only the seat and no toilet, so the problem solved.

Now, we need a baby's training seat to sit on that lovely toilet seat, so little bottoms don't fall in when toilet training and are traumatised for life.
Thank you @GCJellyfish I love it and laughed when I saw it.

Be sure to try out some fur. Zebra perhaps? Or porcupine. Or leather like snake or alligator?
Always fun to have clear acrylic and embed colourful seashells and tropical fish/corals. Or at least models of such.
How did I forget the chance to bling it up a bit: Sequins. Definitely Sequins.
Regards,
Richard
The seat is covered with gold leaf, the rim is edged with diamonds. The lid is made of acrylic glass with alligator figurines moulded into it. They can also be dinosaurs. Or roses. Thanks for the nice suggestions, CHWT, LeatherGryphon and richardandtracy! ;-)
There should a heating system add-on: for the bottom that has the highest expectations. A solid gold version might be considered too political.
There is a countdown clock on the store page, only available for another 16 hours...!
Ditto.
lol Glad you guys enjoyed my little fun project. This one was for you guys. I got a kick out of writing the product description.
Ha, ha, ha, ha!
