    Hi :D
I hope this will be helpful to you, to find out what the problem is!

I have 9 of your converters (from V4/M4/G1/G2/G3 to G8F/M and the hair one from G3F to G8F).

Each one of them works fine with Daz Connect, EXCEPT the clothing ones from G3F/M! They install, but there's no actual file there (not even a thumbnail), and it gives that error from months ago if you try to open them.
Both of them work if I download the offline package.

@TGFan4, I started trying to looking into the difference.  I am not seeing obvious differences in the code (beyond they target different figures and no conformers in the G3->G8).  Do you have trouble with the G8->G3 conversions in Daz Connect?

Also, I started thinking it might be how Daz packaged the files.  I don't see anything there, but maybe something they do with the Daz Connect on their end.  What exactly do you mean "They install, but there's no actual file there (not even a thumbnail)?"  Are ALL files missing?  Some files?  How do you open it when there are no files?

I don't have the G8 to G3 converters, because I only use Genesis 8 stuff!

I install them, and then there's the product with its thumbnail, but when I click on it it lists all the files, but none of them has a thumbnail, and if you click on any of them the file is missing!

Ok, that is definitely a Daz installation problem.  Can you submit a ticket?

If that will help you I'll do it! :D

In the end I'm fine with the manual installation for your products (I don't usually use it), because that way I can have them all in the same place :D

Thanks.  If Daz can figure out something, it will allow me more time for creating things and less time in the support threads. smiley

    Hi RiverSoftArt!

I've sent that help ticket, and they have fixed the issue: now I've installed both products with Daz Connect and they work!

I hope this has fixed the issue in general, so that everyone will be able to use them this way! :D

So, I am suddenly having trouble with virtually everything this converts.  And the only fixer morphs are Expand all.  I know I had an issue earlier with a connect update, but I uninstalled the DIM version today and installed Connect from scratch.  Shoes, full body and torso items are NOT fitting properly at all.. they are all shifted down.

There hasn't been an update with this product since January.  What has changed on your system recently?

Nothing.  As stated, I removed the DIM version, reinstalled from Connect.  Same results.

    I'll post some pictures shortly.

These are largely all new G8 male items by ihkang, or H&C.

Did your base character model get accidently modified with a changed scale factor or some morph always dialed in? Some products are being sold lately with morphs that apply to everything, not just the character the morph is supposed to affect.

You could try to use the "old" conversion algorithm.  You can force the script to use it by:

By doing that, it should raise the shoulders slightly.

Not that I can tell. I have loaded the model various ways.  But I will double check

I'll try this, but... what about the shoes?

No morphs no scaling, stock Genesis 3 Male

Hopefully you meant Genesis 8 male not Genesis 3. If I remember the instructions correctly, you should have a G8M in the default pose, not G3M.

I'll try this, but... what about the shoes?

The shoes you would convert normally.  I am just trying to get the other code path to run for the shirt/jacket.

No, I meant Genesis 3 Male, because I am going from 8 to 3. But it would seem I posted this in the wrong thread.

Ah, ok, no problem.  The G8M->G3M was updated at the same time (January).  So, one thought, do you have multiple converters installed?  Perhaps uninstalling all of the others and making sure there are no wayward files anywhere might help.
