Love that pic. Reminds me a bit of the Thunderchild from Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds album cover smiley

Yes, I can see that!  You know the underwater animation that I did for a music video (I won't post the link again!), well the album cover and artwork for that album (Beneath the Waves by Kompendium) was done by one of the artists (Geoff Taylor) who did illustrations for the War of the Worlds booklet! Everything comes around!

I used Howie's Country Lane from a very similar angle that Misty shows above for my cyclist image below - great minds!

Very nice, and also the detailed mugs in the later post.  I'm a big fan of the "Poser Era" Faveral, owning about half of his (her?) ~70 DAZ products.  Nothing lately, since no Poser versions included.  Also, "Kelly Lodge" is an example of a product that does not show Carrara in the compatible software, but down at the bottom has:

    • Carrara Materials and presets by BetterThanLife included (.CAR and .CBR)

There are probably a lot of these, but how to find them?

Great work, Misty.  I agree with SteveK.  How did you know some of these sets had Carrara materials?

I did a whole story series based on Stony Creek, the Story was called Death Creek and you can still see it at my Redendosity gallery. Misty's image reminded me of it!

I don't think they like links to Rendo here but if you go to the galleries and search for "Death Creek #1" it will take you to the start, you can then just page through using the Newer button - I've just had a look through, can't believe it was almost seven years ago that I did it (just before I did the first Infinite Skills videos!). There are a couple of nudes stuck in the middle somewhere, just thought I would warn you, I don't want anyone to be offended.

Yep, a search of the Store for Carrara does bring up Kelly Lodge under "Structures".  Good to know.

    So cool!

Not to be biassed, or anything... but I really like that mummy scene!!! Love the lighting, the moon with the bats' silhouettes, the lighting! (yup... said lighting twice on purpose)

Really like the Yule scene too. Are you still using SSS on the snow? The snow looks really nice - natural. I also love the lighting in this scene. The light against shadow on the snow (from the windows) looks really, really good!

  • DartanbeckDartanbeck Posts: 21,570

forgot to mention that I really like the Mummy himself in the mummy scene. Is that a special setup you made yourself, or a mummy product? Really looks nice... I like it!

I'm now starting to be a huge fan of creating high contrast via an ultra-strong rim light like that. You really do some great dramatic lighting Stezza!

EDIT: Correction... always been a fan, starting to get more successful at using it! ;)

Excellent work, Misty.  I have that Yule Cottage product.  You are inspiring me to revisit it.
