I am eating crisped made out of veggies!

They are crisps not crisped! My kindle does annoy me with word changes like that.

I am at a library now and this computer's mouse is terrible and the screen's color is off. arrgh!

Maybe you can teach a computer class at the library, starting with the librarians.

Heh couldn't resist dead fish on a tray, you know it's OK, dead fish don't get a say, they just lie on the tray :) Wow sunny outside *blink blink* With a bit of luck will be finished by 1330 and perhaps go for a swim :)

    So do the Anticans.

    They espcially like Selay
    http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Selay

Oops, my bad! The Anticans cooked the Selay ambassador before they ate him.

Are the Anticans the ones that make the Antek cases? Or are those the Antekans? :)

...If it's Tuesday it must be Complaints.

    Site is still acting wonky.

...just clicked on the "next" button only to get a blank white screen with a bunch of meaningless code in the tab above.
...tried to put the latest Freebie in the cart and it wouldn't load. Seems that every time I go to the product page, my status is indicated as being "logged out" even though I logged in through the store's front page.

Today was one of those days where I placed the cell phone up with the leaf blower as being one of the most annoying inventions ever foisted off on society.

..after a fairly hectic day at the workplace, .this lady gets on the bus I ride home, talking loudly on her phone. At first she looks to sit up in the front, but then changes her mind and guess who she decides to sit right across the aisle from. For the next twenty or so minutes I was subjected to her "personal drama" recited in an annoyingly pungent nasal and whiny voice. When a seat up front opened up, I immediately moved. Others did likewise some looking back at her, yet she still did not get the clue and continued to sit there in her own little cellular world, prattling on like a hen in the barnyard.

I wish buses and trams were "no phone zones".

...or that it was legal to carry one of those pocket cell/wireless jammers.

Totally illegal! But it would be sooo fun to play with... (-INSERT DEVIL SMILEY HERE-) (DAZ: I want Devil Smiley!!!) Cos I'd be like... Now you have reception... Now you dont... Now you do... Oh wait, No reception here lol!

That said of course, if you in Australia with Optus as your phone service, jammers arent required. One minute to have full reception, the next... You can ONLY make emergency calls.

Speaking of emergency calls, you'd be shocked at how many Aussies think that the emergency number in Aus is '911' ... Seriously!! That's how much US tv shows we have here... that we can't remember to call '000'

I miss the old ghetto blaster days, at least you could hear them a block away and plan an alternative route :)

Wednesday, and HUMP DAY! 3 more work days until vacation!

Very tired today - not sure why. Blood sugar is OK, maybe low on water or something. Sometimes I forget to drink enough... :red:

Should be slow day today, reverse-engineering one thing to create another. Sometimes interesting, sometimes boring as heck! We'll see how this one goes.

2 cups of cawfee and still snzzz... too bright to crawl under my desk and nap. I wonder if I can sleep in a stall in the bathroom without falling in? :bug:

My new alarm clock shipped! It has an individual alarm for each day, so I can program it to wake me at 5:30AM weekdays and 7:30am weekends. It'll be set for 7:30am all next week (heh). Argh... snzzzz..

This is how much it sucks to be me.

If I sleep too late, several things occur: first, my body starts dumping sugar into your blood in the early A.M. to get you moving (called "Dawn Phenomenon"), so even if I don't eat at night my glucose goes UP in the morning "for me" and will only slow when I actually eat something - the longer I wait, the worse it gets. Second, if I don't get my metformin in the morning, the sugar rise is WORSE and it takes me all day to recover!

So, to stay healthy I *MUST* get up at a decent hour to eat and take my freaking pills or I will suffer for it all day.

Thus, my "vacation" means I sleep in 2 more hours and get up at 7:30AM instead of 5:30AM as that's about the longest I can let things go. And I have to get up and move around to help burn off the extra glucose my liver "helped me out" with.. so I'll be walking to/from the local coffee shop and getting a nice latte'.

Oh, and even healthy people have "Dawn Phenomenon", but it's not as bad. This was really useful 1000 years ago when you had to get up and chase down a rabbit or such for breakfast, not so much in modern times.

Meh, it's all so damned depressing. But I ordered my GODZILLA to go with King Ghidorah today!!! GO GO GODZILLA! :snake:

Wednesday, and HUMP DAY! 3 more work days until vacation!...

    Consider yourself lucky.

I having been self employed for 8 years and retired for nearly two years, haven't had a hump day in ten years. Come to think of it I don't think I've had a hump in that long either. :-(

And people wonder why I'm a grumpy old fart!

Yeah, that would do it! I'd be cranky and ill-tempered under those circumstances too! :vampire:
