The objects were made in Wings3D and given my own materials. They stand on a Fading Disk. Background and ambient light by an HDRI from "HDRI for Fun", additional light and specular by the sun. Render time 10 hours.

The terrain was self-made, the habitat was done in the DTE following one of David’s Tutorial, materials and lighting from the Landscapes under Fantastic Skies, the moon Dave shared with us.

The terrain is from the Craters Construction Kit (author unknown) modified, with a material from Landscapes under Fantastic Skies. The building is the Organodron City by Hermino Nieves 2013. The stars and the coloured nebula right are from the Space Construction Kit, the galaxy and the ambient light by an HDRI from Deep Space HDRI 2, the key light by the sun.

    Thank you Bunyp02

I used the Uninhabitable Planets for Bryce by Cris33 (available at sharecg.com)  as a starting point.  The Aliens are from Toon-alien available at Daz

Very nice looking space scene mermaid, considering the green men, it must be on Mars laugh

Horo: Your drawing/painting style render is really cool, the effect is great. The seascape looks really nice too. The camera with the GWL looks organic. The strange objects are like alien candys.

Electro-Elvis: The car looks really nice, quite realistic. Six hours of rendering is quite a lot, I had a landscape that took that long (and I was thinking of using it as part of an animation, but I gave up because of time).

Past as Future: Don't worry, I know what it's like to be absorbed by work and personal matters, finish the project when you can. I was supposed to have a novel ready in November, but I haven't finished it yet (it's true that I'm not in a hurry, although I still feel itchy about the delay).

Hansmar: Your vehicles give me the idea of an exhibition or museum.

mermaid010: Nice and fantastic scene with a moon overhead, congratulations. The aliens in the uninhabitable world look fun and the sky effect is great.

Hi all! Hope everyone is well. Here's a hodgepodge image created from stuff I experimented with but never used.

Title: Swap Devil.  The critter was created inGroboto and textured with Bryce  procedurals. Grasses by Lisa's botanicals distorted in various ways in Modo. Everything else, including the trees,  Bryce. Illuminated by Use Sky IBL and the Bryce sun. Rendered at 16 RPP with True Ambience enabled. As always I greatly  enjoy all your images. Thanks for taking a look!

Great scene, Dan, with a lot of vegetation - almost jungle-like - and the critter is certainly very special.

Thanks Horo, not sure how I missed your comment.

Dan -wonderful scene, very nice haze/fog effect and the critter is special like Horo mentioned.

mermaid - no problem, has happened to me as well.

The terrains are from the Craters Construction Kit (author unknown), the peak in the centre is a default Bryce terrain. The materials are from High Resolution Terrains 1. The lakes are 2D-Disks with my own material. The ground plane got a material from Vegetation. Ambient light by an HDRI from Hyper Textures Base and the key light by the sun. Three lakes with different colours in different elevations within a crater landscape.

Horo, how many renders you make and all of them great. Love the artifacts with colourful textures and the terrains are beautiful too.

Mermaid010, Two very nice space renders.

Teobaldo, Thank you. The idea of an exhibition was intentional.

Dan Whiteside, wonderful swamp and scary critter. Very well done with all the vegetation.

The chape and country house are from Alfons Blom. The ground texture is from David B and Horo and the trees are eco trees by from the Bryce pro 7.1 vegetation set by the same gentlemen. The man is Genesis with the adventurer for Genesis clothing. The sky is from Horo. The bird is a static freebie prop.

Horo -Going thru my download folder of the files I downloaded from ShareCG over the years, I found this file Crater Construction Kit by Criss333. The file only contains heighmaps of craters, are these, the craters you used in some of your renders recently.

eta : correcting the reference from Space to Crater ... Space Contruction kit is by David and Horo.blush

mermaid - exactly! I really do not remember from where I have got them. I had the original files all properly adjusted, pixels landed and stretched in TE-Filters, then set to Bryce default size for the Terrain Editor and put the 33 crater terrains plus the image you showed in a Object Library.
Everyone interested here can download the library from my website. The zip is 155 MB and will be available for a few weeks: https://horo.ch/guestxchg/Terr_Craters.zip

Mermaid010, Horo, thank you, also for the crater-file.

A new render with a self-made terrain, a texture by David B (but with increased frequency), a sky by David and Horo, two Silverkey fawns and a couple of plants from the vegetation set with eco trees from David and Horo. The little lakes (tarns) are made using an elongated cube.
