Bunyip - thanks for the Frazetta comment.  You do have the coolest critters.  Special shout out to the Mantisaran.  Could add some horor to my scifi.  Will have to look for that one.  Image really pops.

I found a robot in my runtime and found a spot for him on TangoAlpha's Stella scifi set.  (Raw render also attached)

Thanks - Very cool robot !!!

heart my critters (As you may have noticed)

Mantisaran needs to be converted to blended-weight in DAZ Studio to get it to work. https://www.daz3d.com/mantisaran-original-figure

Stezza - the fox is a trendsetter with the TPose. I agree we need some Sockratease to shake things up with a kalaidascope cow.  Bunyip, I'm not telling any secrets around that bird.  Is that a Daz product, or elsewhere.  I got a bunch of birds elsewhere, I think it was contentparadise, but I don't think I have that one.

Here is the old Daz Xerr.  I think they recently released a fancier Xerr.  My older one is not happy.

    wonderful lighting

Thanks for the comments, Bunyip, Stezza, Headwax, and Dartanbeck.  Great to see the Entry thread filling up.  Headwax - very dramatic Scorpion King.

What is a creature-feature without the classic M4 creature-creator?  How about a Satyr and lass in Dart's woodland terrain with a Daz squirrel and blue bird?  The streaky lines that look like scars must be from one of Dart's distant treetops.  Was going to change the lighting angle but decided I liked it.

    Even more Xerr!!!!!!

Great updates, Veronika and Wendy.  I wonder if Xerr has ever gotten so much render love.

Still plenty of time for more Xerr, or more other critters.

Entry thread will close February 14th at midnight Daz time (US Mountain Standard).  Actually, February 15th when I wake up, but you know what I mean.

Inspiration - I must do an octopus render.

Was totally freaked out when I saw that an octopus can walk across land to hunt.  I had learned at a Seattle acquarium that an octopus can be incredibly good at problem soving and has an excellent memory.  Was very glad they were stuck in the water.  Now that I know they can hunt on land, I am going totally bonkers. The Aussies probably already knew that our 8-limbed friends have been coming out of the water.

Here is a pretty tame example.

Wendy, maybe the Xerr plague just needs to get to the great outdoors and have a few beers by the campsite.
