I need a baseball glove (preferably outfielder's) that A3 can wear. Lacking that, a prop glove will work.

Are there any out there that I've somehow missed?

EDIT: Never mind - found one in Shukky's baseball uniform.

    Yay that's the one!

    Now I need a baseball - a sphere primitive just isn't working...
All you need to turn a sphere primitive into a baseball is to UV map your primitive and make a texture and bump map for it.

I wonder if anyone can help here. It seems the Wayback Machine is quite a nice way to get to older freebies not working. However, I have a site which I have found today via a forum (not with the WM). I know this is quite an old site as I remember that I had visited it some years ago. But for some reason a few of the freebies is not working and after trying with the WM I had no success as it takes me to a link not quite correct. http://web.archive.org/web/20011008004404/http://www.wg3d.com/downloadsx.html

I have never used the WM and I am not sure if I have searched correctly. It seems Robkelk is more familiar with this. ;-)

    Original working link is: http://www.wg3d.com./downloadsx.html

The none working freebies I am looking for on this link is the:

    spinning wheel
    cradle
    scooter
    mail cart
    fantasy coach
(not sure if I have left something out on the list of non-working zips)

The mail cart is something I can use in vintage renders. Do anyone know of such a mail cart elsewhere?

Thank you for any help. :)

    Laura

What I have done to use the wayback successfully when I don't get good results with the page I want to look at is to use the capture bar at the top of the wayback machine. If you click on the hot link (it is usually something that looks like words like 63 captures on the left of the time line it puts you in the month mode and you can see all of the blue dots for the year you are currently in. From this page I look for a date just before the current designed page. The owner probably inadvertently broke the link to the download and is not aware that that has happened. So using this technique I found the following:

For the mail cart and scooter
    http://web.archive.org/web/20120415102642/http://www.wg3d.com/downloadsx.html

For the fantasy coach and cradle (Note don't click on the fantasy coach image this will give you the hot rod. Look for the red toy car in the second row and you will get the fantasy coach download. For the cradle look for the green tractor)
    http://web.archive.org/web/20111115212620/http://www.wg3d.com/downloadsx.html

For the spinning wheel all of the captures from the wayback machine seem not to work. You never could down load it from the time it was introduced in May of 2007 to the present.

Or you can contact the artist from this page http://www.wg3d.com/page2.html and ask him to fix the links.

All this stuff, I believe, is CAL's work. He has been in the community for a long time and his speciality is retro props. If you are into retro props you might want to get the cd because it would more than likely have all his older offerings on it he apparently no longer offers free.

Thank you Shante. As soon as the next day of my initial query, I got hold of Cal by email and he helped me out with some older stuff, even more than I was asking for and I have appreciated his generosity a lot! He told me then he is back to arts and not doing 3D stuff any more. He is a very talented artist as I saw many of his artwork on the old site!

I try to remove this post as I initially made a mistake with the quoting on the previous message when my typing got intermingled with the others which I have corrected but somehow this second message appears too! Are there no options of how to remove an entire message as in this case!? :smirk:

I got some flower bouquets at RDNA. Not sure if wedding but they do have wrapped stems. Also, not sure but also they are purchase items.

Anyone know of a set of freebie old-style blue Plimsoll sneakers for V4 or Genesis ? I need a pair for Tommie, for some of her other outfits.

Try this setcreated by Beto for V4 Bruuna. The closest I've see. You may need to texture them for the blue.

He was ill for awhile and was having problems creating 3d content. The issue with some of his work is that it is not (for the most part) UV Mapped so difficult to texture unless you are good with UV Mapper or with the advanced Materials room functions which I am not.

In the Announcelments at the top of the forum there is a thread titled "WELCOME TO THE FREEPOSITORY" In that thread are the rules of the freepository, which include

    4) Only posts containing freebies or links to freebies will remain in the Freepozitory. Anything else gets bumped to the appropriate forum.
    5) If you have any requests for specific freebies, please post them in the stickied thread in this forum entitled “General Freebie Requests”.

I was hoping to see if anyone has any freebies for Veronica 4. I have the Veronica 4 base, but nothing to go along with the model (no hair, no clothes, etc.) I was hoping somebody might have such freebies for this version of Veronica, freebies with the metadata attached so it will show up in the Smart Content window.

I've been trying to use some freebies from a third party site, but it appears there's no metadata to the poses, morphs, etc. Now I have a lot of work to do to add in the metadata for the poses.

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

Okay if we are talking Victoria then I would start with this thread:
http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/75/ look for Hair and hair related Items

You can go here: http://www10.sharecg.com/search/index.php?PSID=8b5305163279f81bb78bcf041fbd4e50&ps=15&q=V4&ps=50&m=any&wm=wrd to get clothing jewelry poses and characters.

Since you only have the base I would save my pennies and get this: http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-morphs this way all those cool characters you download will work. If the description says it uses Morphs++ it means it is using this package.

If you do mean V4 and you are using Poser, you can just download Genesis along with Daz studio and use the exporter. It's free and is compatible with most V4++ content, except for the morphs of course. The poses tend to need a little tweaking but being Genesis has a lot of it's own content and you can find mostly anything you need for free between freebies for the generation 4 figures (Michael 4, Victoria 4, The Kids 4, Aiko 4, Hiro 4 etc) there isn't a much of a limit to what you can find without spending a dime.

I'm looking for a free or low cost short or long sleeved shirt with a 'Roman collar' like a priest wears. I'd like it for Michael 4, but will take one for Michael 3, or Genesis 2 male.

Solution was to made a change to the texture file for the shirt front for Dyald's free M4 fable. Sharecg link

That is a textures file, not one that can be used as the OP wants, and is also a paid for product and this is a thread requesting freebies.

Has anybody seen either an individual vertebrae segment (from any kind of creature), or a shape similar to this only much more rounded instead of sharp-edged? (screenshot shows a Bryce boolean, so I can't just export it and smooth it and use it.) Poser/DS or Bryce format, untextured is fine.

I thought of Spacebones' stuff right away, but unless I'm just missing it, I don't see that particular shape in his various collections of shapes.

    Hi there,

I'd like to request some braces that appear figure hugging and can be blended (with a black vinyl look) with some black trousers for Genesis 2 male.

They don't need to be particularly detailed, just able to adapt to changes I make to the male figure. Please note, in the reference file I've provided, the loop goes around the neck. The braces I'm hoping for would not do this - they would end (at the base of the back) where they start on the waist.

My utmost thanks in advance for anyone who can help.
