This thread is a preview of a Spring-tide of new aquatic products for DAZ Studio and Poser, by a thoroughly un-scurvy crew of DAZ PAs. The items will be released today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday) as part of the Artist Festival. Being part of the Artist Festival they are of course eligible for the buy any 2, get 40% off, buy any three, get 50% off deal.
A nasty under-tow has delayed the mermaid tails, needed for Dark Cyreena, until tomorrows release.

Here's a couple of images that actually inspired my work on UnderWater Ambiance for Poser - in as much as these are (perhaps slightly crude/unfinished) versions of what I had in my mind's eye that inspired me to work on the set.
Naturally, the creatures that I've used (primarily by Digital I, Stonemason, or The AntFarm, but more by Orestes Graphics and 3D Universe too!) are ones I can wholeheartedly recommend. They're terrific :D
One of these images - a Stonemason critter drifting over a render of the the Stonemason critter floating over a render of a Stonemason critter... almost became the cover for the ReadMe PDF file - but at the quality I'd have wanted to include it, it bloated the PDF too much :( Pity.
But at least I get to show a low res copy of it here, where I cam be a little more whimsical than in the store pages! :D

Woohoo, and now I get to spend far too much money on this. It is a wonderful project. Kudos to all the PAs who participated and bought this wonderful project to a successful landfall :coolsmile:
I have to ask.. since it claims on the promotion page, that the new releases are part of this price for Today ONLY... will I be able to still buy three of them tomorrow and get those 50% off?.. cosnidering the fact that I have a Very limited amount of money to use at this time and therefor can't be sure I will be able to buy three things tomorrow (or might not even Want thre things for all I know)
My plan had been to wait with the things I have today, to see tomorrows releases as well, since the tails will be coming tomorrow. And also to be sure that I would Have 3 products so the discount came to 50%.... but after reading that promotion page, I'm not sure I can do that.. which means I might have to buy thigns today, and than perhaps not be able to buy any of the tails tomorrow because I can't get it down to 50%
I guess what I am trying to ask, is if todays new releases will still be available for the buy 3 get 50% discount tomorrow? It seems like that since some of yesterdays vendors are still available today.. but I rather be sure than standing there tomorrow and not being able to buy Anything at all
I agree, this is one of the reasons it was so ridiculous to release the tails second, I'm not going to purchase textures for something that is suppose to come out tomorrow what if Daz decide not to release it tomorrow.
All the stuff looks gorgeous but I can see me passing on it all, I need to know how much the tails are going to be etc before I consider buying anything.
They have been using a "DAZ day (36-48 hours)", so things going on sale today, will still be on sale tomorrow. Example: items released on day 1 go off sale when the day 3 items are announced.
I would assume so, since that's usually how things have rolled in the past. You should have some overlap in time. :)
Oki, thanks for that Destiny :) Now I only have to hope that Daz doesn't change their minds and wait with releasing the tails and such (if they do, I really feel sorry for all you vendors *hugs*)
