Captain Battle, an old 1940's comic book character
Sci-fi Battle
Nice... how are you getting the painterly (watercolor?) effect?
I'm testing out sci fi shaders on the ship and played with the alien's shader settings
Night City Stroll.
Subway Ambush
Transmission Prep
Daily inspection and tweaking of local power transmitters before they are brought online. The human settlers need these transmitters at full capacity to power the protective dome shield so they can resume work on the surface.
I was watching 2001: A Space Odyssey for the infinity plus time the other day and then animated this with sounds effects.

Great sci-fi posts here! Great that it's going strong after all these years! Here's my contribution, of an oder render:
"Not Going Back Homeworld"
"They're on the run, with only a primitive weapon to get them away from the city and the trackers. He is making his last stand here on Earth and damn the Collective. He's learned that life is only worth living on his own terms."
Working with the magnificent Alien figure by Josh Crocket. Credit: Vicky 7, The Exile Alien G3 male morph by Josh Crocket; G3 Hoodie by Tab (ShareCG), Renegade G3 male set shotgun. Lighting is from a night-time HDRI probe.
Hope you all like it.
Playing with a model made in Blender.
Great work everyone.
I don't know why, but I really like Cable. I have his 1st appearance issue along with Dead Pool's 1st. Anyway, this an attempt to make a realistic version with a little bit of Josh Brolin and a little bit of the comic version.
Hi everyone,
Good to see so many cyberpunk entries in here, as well as some very creative offerings. Liked @ACue's "not going back to homeworld". The expressions on the characters tell a story and the heavy DOF sets the figures off nicely.
I usually do Cyberpunk art, but I entered the Carrara "Let there be light" competition with this Logan's Run related picture. It's called "WHEN CAROUSEL SET UP REDUCED TO 30 SECONDS, NOT EVERYONE GOT THE MEMO".
The scene was created in Carrara, and rendered with the Octane Render plug in. No additional post work, although Octange comes with bloom and a few post bits built-in which I took advantage of.
I'm not sure how you post a large picture without it reducing to a thumbnail, so if someone can tell me I'll do that next time.
I enjoy Sci-Fi. I have absolutely no backstory for this render whatsoever!
Nice work, great composition and subtle lighting on the characters. Great dynamic work all round. Nicely done.
Zero Gravity Relieved
my first contribution, hope this is ok :)
Thank you!
I want to thank you and your team for boarding my ship, killing ten of my crew and trying to take command.
However, your ill conceived plan will no longer be tolerated..
Goodbye
Nice
Spidey vs Doc Ock
Okay that's just rad!
Thanks.
thanks

"Look, how happy she is!"
Initially, I used the ISS model from NASA, but it was too detailed since it had very high polygon counts and almost crippled my computer. So, I replaced it with a lower polygon model. I think it's OK since I was doing cell-shading style anyway.

SPACE CRIMES - You Will Sign the Papers Now
Like I said... thank you for locating MY client. But now.. you will sign the bounty award papers over to me since it was.. my client after all.
We wouldn't want your pretty little face all rearranged now would we? This lovely lady wouldn't want to see that every day would she?
NOTES: I know people must be sick of these two but I have so much fun doing different situations with them. Items used are linked in the gallery image link above.
Remembering the Skies of Earth
The representative of the Inter-Species Socialization Committee, Kliux, escorted Janda to the Erto Sapien (ES) section. Janda paused for a second to examine the holographic representation of Earth's skies and thought of that last beautiful day before the catastrophic collision forced the darkness upon them.
