If I was sure I was going to be able to buy later in the month, I would definitely go this route. I will definitely keep it in mind in case March is also tight.
Me too. The next serious money they get will include a GC sale with a 2 ahead. Until then, its only LD sniping.
Well, there are a couple shiny PA items that come in at a fair price with the 25% coupon. I won't be boasting about the incredible deal, but it will be ok. They are items I want from PAs I like.
That's how I feel about the Lycan bundle. IMO, it's a pretty good price for something I've wanted since it released. Not a spectacular "shout it from the forum rooftops" super-stacking + tokens deal, of course, but a fair deal.
Let me know what you buy with the coupon.
Excellent I understand! Lycan is pretty cool!
I'm looking at https://www.daz3d.com/xi-superhero-muscle-car (Better than the movie car, IMO) and https://www.daz3d.com/wings-of-darkness-for-genesis-9-81-8-and-3 I'm waiting a little to see if LD serves anything irresistable at the next changeover and if there's anything else from my WL that just can't wait. Considering I'm supposedly not spending now, that seems sort of like spending.
...found the 25% coupon on my account message page as well (after seing all the mentions abiout it) and it came in very handy with the sale this weekend. Broke my "taboo" of going over 20$ again (24$ & change with 2 tokens) but picked up a couple clothing items along with their materials sets off the wishlist as well as the Royal Palace Bundle.
Had I waited for this sale I could have got AM's All The Rabbits bundle for 18.75$ (100$ value) however I already purchased the base Rabbit figure and one of the add on sets the other day, both of which I still got at a significant discount.
That coupon was still good this morning. I fell asleep and found my cart prices had somehow not changed at all. So I bought it.
That's the thing about these sales. We never know what tomorrow will bring. Seems like you did ok, though. My purchase rules say, don't buy DO's for less than 93% off in the cart, don't buy PA items for less than 81% off. Seems stingy, but experience shows Daz will offer these items at even greater discounts at specific times. So it's a matter of accepting the current offer or waiting for a better offer, depending on how much one actually wants or needs the items.
Yeah. My Daz budget is fixed, so it's just a matter of how much I get for that X amount of money. At this point I save DO's for the monthly $6 coupon or any of those random freebie deals, as what's left of those for me (with only a couple exceptions) is stuff that I'd have fun with, but it's not holding me up. Everything else, a lot of it comes down to "Yes, the price is okay, but will I really use it before [next major sale] when it's likely to be better?" Most times the answer is no. I'm still kicking myself for burning my $6 coupon early in the month last month when a "grunge it up" type utility I had my eye on went to about $6 exactly. I thought I'd use it pretty much right away, so it was worth mor than I'd usually pay. But I still haven't touched it, and if I waited even a week I could've added one or maybe two other DOs to that cart. Argh.
Similar thing. I looked at my Wishlist this morning, & most of the items were 75% off or so. I looked at it a few minutes ago and everything had jumped to either full price or only 50% off. Too bad, so sad for Daz 3D.
I suspect that Daz trimmed the list of Featured Artists to those actually featured today. Sorry that happened to you. As we know from years of experience, there will be another sale, and another, and another.
Flash sale tile up on the main store page.
The hair flash sale has been up there for hours. I think it is so unexciting that nobody bothered to comment on it.
It certainly didn't do it for me, but mileage may vary. (And I'm not shocked it's been up a while... kiddo's wakeup time was about 6:30 PM today, though, so first I saw it, and it might've been one of those rogue evening ones.)
I didn't really price anything out, but after last week's astonishing sales, today's looked pale.
