When your TV starts picking up even weirder channels than usual…

The organic beings of the world were long gone, but the virtual Ratu exhibit continued to be a favourite among the Widgets.

Several cute little robots stands around a holographic display of Ratu the bat in a museum lit with bright neon lights. Their face screens light up with heart-shaped eyes.

Around these parts, we prefer there is no doubt whatsoever about what our gestures mean.

A skinny, green-skinned goblin man with a defiant grin holds up two middle fingers to the camera. He's wearing combat boots, leather trousers, and a crop top. The top has a pattern of hearts in the colours of the trans flag, with the text 'I identify as a fucking problem' overlaid. His expression and stance says he's not just ready for a fight, but fully expects to win it.

Not very cheerful at all. His mother left when he was very young, his father was perpetually disappointed in him and left him behind the moment he could reasonably be considered an adult. At the beginning of his story he's stuck in place, with no real means to support himself, and tormented by bullies.
