Well the butterfly thing is nonsense, quantum theory is flawed, and Schrödingers cat is neither dead or alive.

The common concept of the "Butterfly Effect" seems to be about figurative butterflies flapping wings eventually causing massive effects elsewhere.  However, the true meaning of the butterfly effect comes from a classic instability graph that showed a chaotic algorithm to form two lobes of possible solution paths and the diagram on paper looked like butterfly wings.  It had nothing to do with figurative butterflies flapping their wings in the jungle.  But since the mathematics behind the derivation of the chaotic graph results is too abstract for the non-scientifically minded, the mind of the common man picked up on the picture of the figurative butterfly thing and there was no stopping its spread.  But admittedly it's not a bad parable as long as you don't stretch it too far.

Yes, I was arguing against the common notion of the concept, which seems to ignore the momemtum of a tornado versus the momentum of the air a butterfly's wings can move.  It is true as the article says that "you could not remove a single grain of sand from its place without thereby ... changing something throughout all parts of the immeasurable whole".   But which effect a particular action has on the whole depends on a number of factors (including some which are not commonly recognized by mainstream science, which is why I'm sceptical to most of it's theories).

But I didn't intend to start a scentific discussion, just stated my opinion in a slightly sarcastic remark, and will leave it at that...

We won't be able to ignore it if this thread turns to poitics and so on.

so quantum physics is against the TOS?

Yes, quantum physics would rather see the TOS as dead as Schrödingers cat.

No, but Schrödinger's cat is...unless you slap some clothes on her.

    Well OK...

I will however say that I realized that my remark: "which seems to ignore the momemtum of a tornado versus the momentum of the air a butterfly's wings can move" was a really bad and misleading attempt to explain what I really mean.  But I don't think this is the right place to elaborate further on this.

Well if you want your butterfly's wings to shine the dual lobe shaders are the way to go.

Or did you post in the wrong thread?  I just saw another thread about exactly this.

Music through cheeze has a very blues sound.

I didn't say that, an expert did.  And no, she did not mean "philosophically", or "metaphorically".  She meant it literally!

I can at least render my V4's and genesis 1's

even in DAZ studio with Dforce and iray yes

everything now is just over the top because people with better rigs than mine demand it and they obviously have the money to buy it too

I am trying to ignore my new fitness tracker saying I have been inactive too long.  I think that is what it is complaining about.  I probably need to do my chore.  I am supposed to do it twice a day but I have not done it since yesterday morning.  I remembered too late last night and lost track of time this morning and had to go out before I got to it.

Some psychological cattle prodding for all those with filters active

I have no filter myself so not so much news to me devil

I just needed to dodge getting written warnings or arrested

I'm just wondering why the Universe keeps ignoring us all, it keeps expanding for ever and ever, getting colder and colder...and bigger..no wait...I mentioned that already...anyways, it keeps on keeping on.

I know exactly what you mean... why no obvious "block caller" option?... You have to go into a stupid unintuitive options menu that is the complete opposite of what it should look like.
Even better if you get uninvited spam in your calendar... no way to block the spammer without letting them know it's a live account... and no more "Block Third Party Cookies" option either...
