I'm glad you like the look of the suede! I knew creating leather shaders would be a risky move seeing as how many have attempted them but I hoped I could make something with a good variety and great quality and hopefully stand! I'm pretty satisfied with how they turned out and I hope that if you do buy them that you enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed making them!

Since nobody said it yet, I'll say it: THAT MINOTAUR! I'm temporarily broke (or maybe more broke than usual?), so it went to my wishlist instead of my cart, but I love him. RawArt always have superb figures/creatures, but to me the minotaur beats them all.
Ryliey is also nice. I'm getting the teenager vibe without being overly cute.
And the fairy outfit. It makes me think of ren fairs costumes a bit, but I could certainly use it for fantasy.
Another nice one but that seems a "mutant Tauren" other than Minotaur as it has the feet of human being.
Lol, yeah. In fairness, there's nothing about a "minotaur" in the actual product name or the description, so it was slapped on by marketing.

Thumbing through the list of stuff in the anime sale really stung, because if you start from oldest to newest, you can see the gradual move away from fantastical to the painfully mundane.

Not the first time I'm wondering, why log cabins are made with "external supports"...
At least the chimneys are not outside the houses this time
It looks to me as if the logs are textured as if they are in segments, without a full length log. The joints seem to be hidden behind the supports.
It's a logical solution to a silly decision to use logs that are too short.

I am happy that there are new houses in the Enterables series again. I love them and own all but two.
Yeah, that one is finding it's way to my cart too, but still it does irritate when a creator makes choises that don't make sense.
Especially with such cabins that are usually ruined by a) having the chimney outside the cabin (makes no sense in cold climate), b) "wattle and daub" construction, which may have been common in central/southern europe, but completely unknown up here with abundance of timber
PerttiA, you are partly right about the chimneys. I have looked at all the houses again: That chimneys are completely missing on the multi-storey wooden buildings is of course not correct. One could have suggested some kind of flue - or put cooking places in front of or next to the house. The German Wikipedia writes on the history of the chimney (translated):
"The chimney was developed by the Romans in the form of the hypocaust, but fell into oblivion by the 10th-11th centuries. In the meantime, there were only single-storey, one-room houses (from which, among other things, plank houses developed). The smoke from the cooking place went through the whole house and escaped through openings in the roof. This meant that the whole house was heated, but also that the soot settled in the cooking area ... and in the whole house (including the clothing, lungs and skin of the inhabitants), increasing the risk of fire. ... With the introduction of mezzanine ceilings, there was a need for better smoke evacuation."
As for the half-timbered houses, they are virtually the emblem of historic Central and Western Europe - which is, of course, southern from your home.
what does "tiled" mean in these houses.
I assume it is refering to the tiles on the roof. Other houses in this series have had thatched or plank roofs.
I guess the PA is struggling to come up with meaningful names for each set.
to be fair not everyone one lives in a chilly climate
(Australian here)
some have bushfires too and any fireplace in a wooden house is not a great idea
(limestone ones had the cast iron Metters oven and chimney of course)
this is why outhouses exist (not just the dropbox typpe for bodily functions)
in the Mediterranean for example they have Pizza ovens
we of course have the Barbie (predates the doll of that name and an abbreviation of barbecue, Americans use BBQ)
and enjoy Smoko at the campfire with the billy tea with the gum leaf
again American equivalent is a Fire Pit
Finally found the reason, why the log cabins over on the left side of the pond have the chimney outside the cabin...
The log cabin was introduced by the early Finnish and Swedish settlers, which had long traditions in building them.
It was the Irish Scots that had no such tradition that went and moved the chimney.
Has anyone heard if there is going to be furniture for these wood buildings??? What kind of furniture would be appropriate? I want to fill my buildings... but with what???

Thick wood furniture... got'cha... I like that wood stove... Not sure what I have in content. I was thinking the buildings are supposed to be Viking? What kind of furniture did Vikings have???? I'll have to check my runtime to see what I have. Thanks for the photos... They help ;)
Not sure what all western stuff I have... I'll need to look... thanks for the suggestion. I'm hoping the person that makes the buildings will maybe make some furniture to fill them. Need a fireplace (did they have fireplaces? or maybe stoves???) table... chairs... bed... did they have dresser drawers? closets? wardrobes? I guess since it's fantasy I can make the buildings whatever I want... Some of them are business buildings... so need stuff to fill those too. Blacksmith... etc.
I still feel as those houses are not particulary Northern European hence lacking of chimneys, more fantasy like and a warmer climate, wicker furniture could work with leopard skin rugs etc
while the PA has Northern Houses too they also have reed huts
I would raid your environment sets for props. I went through some of my PAs at a glance and found for African, Asian, Medieval and Western expansion periods sets from: Alessandro_AM (African and Australian set kits), Anima Gemini, Faveral, Matari3D, Merlin Studios, Rogery Strangefate, Sloshwerks, Souless Empathy, The Alchmist and these were just the ones that I found quickly. I would have put Stonemason here but most of his sets would need to be split apart first, but are also an option since he has lovely Medieval and Western sets.
Keep in mind that in America's western expansion, the women often carried treasured family possessions of porcelian, linens, quilts, or case goods in ships and wagons. Some of which may still be in descendent's homes today. I have a few myself.

The ROG Fantasy series provides great looking fantasy props (at least they look great on the promo renders, I have none of them)
They are wonderful and worth saving up for the purchase of the sets.
