I just bought it and tried it. Let's just say: it works. Almost perfectly, you probably need to adjust the rigging, but that's about it.

And yes, it is still a shame that HD morphs don't get converted but that's just the nature of the beast, I guess. I honestly can only recommend it.

Edit: And while I was quite successful to convert my characters with Jay Versluis' method I always struggled with the eye placement. This converter does it straight out of the box. Colour me impressed.

How did you install? I just purchased it and it doesn't show in DIM and looking at the zip, it is not the usual script addon

Manual download, dropped it into my DIM folder and presto, done.

Thanks. Did you add the plugins folder to your DIM folder or the .DLLs only?

I added the complete zip files.

I already bought a character converter for G9 and the promos not including any human male characters doesn't really entice me to buy another one.

Makes sense. I am not a fan of Riversoftart products, so I passed on their converter. I have converted 7 things with the new converter (1 GF3 body, 3 GF3 faces, I GM8 face and 2 GM8 bodys) and only have had one issue with one of the GF3 bodys, even after adjusting rig to shape, but other than that, this product works great and efficiently. One of my GM8 converts was HH's Ronen which is a full character morph and the cool thing about this converter is it split the head and body automatically. Curious to see how it works on some of Rawarts characters since they are usually full character morphs only.

I'd love to see some examples of converted characters, if anyone who purchesed the product has the time.

I like the Buffy vibe of Quixotry's Night Fighter Poses. I'm curious if that's stock Van Helsing 9 in the promos or modified a bit - regardless, the character looks great in them.

Wishlisted for now and will try to find room in the cart if I make a purchase in the next couple days. :)

Very excited about Fisio Soft Bodies

The truth is that I have the original Fisio installed but haven't actually tried it yet, so it will be a while until I buy and try the Soft Bodies expansion; but I'll be getting it for sure sooner or later.

    I am tempted.

But I would like to see a little more of what it can do in terms of softbody, e.g. a person sitting on a box or on a couch (2 softbodies).

I don't know if it can be thrown onto actual characters like Genesis 9. Maybe it can be thrown onto anything, though it's another thing, how exactly it'll play out on a certain geometry in particular. Since i've bought it instantly, i probably should experiment with it, instead of writing this?

After winning against the awful web search, noting to myself that the Studio search being similarly non-functional, leading to me assuming, that i have to implement a better search pane, using everything and entirely virtual, in order to be performant, meaning i have used the term "physics" instead of "fisio" to get the envisioned results with the first two matches actually matching, i have to CITE: "Any close-geometry prop or figure can participate in the simulation as a soft or deformable body."

There is teddybears in the video, so i assume, that in theory, you could use this for a ragdoll-like experiene, that if you were a genesis figure, for instance. However, setting off your very question, i too am not sure, if there is "a lot of setup" to be done prior to simulation, if you want it to look like realistic or anything. The tutorial video doesn't show anything about 'figures', unless i am mistaken...

It looks like it's possible to apply it to just one part of a genesis 8 (?) figure:

Ok, I know... But when something is promoted with "Relive history with authenticity, realism, and remarkable craftsmanship", I would expect the creators something better...

The cage... Done by local village blacksmith with the tools that were available back in medieval times, starting with smelting the ore?
What's keeping the front of the canvas up on the covered wagon?

well said @xyer0, although i believe, as most PAs he or she will deem him/herself privileged to be talented enough to feed himself with creating art instead of serving people at like mcdonalds or amazon, like most people.

Predatron is a 'he' as you can read in the DAZ Blog. https://blog.daz3d.com/daz-artist-interview-series-predatron/

I read it a few weeks ago and I found it really interesting and recommend it.

Love the Leather Shaders in today's releases, they have a great variety and even have suede which is gonna be great for something I have planned for halloween! Only thing I would have said is that they probably should have gone for there second image as their promo image: https://gcdn.daz3d.com/p/90912/i/hyperrealisticpbrleathershaders01daz3d.jpg

I'm excited about Oso Cat, but there doesn't appear to be a digitigrade morph, at least based on the promos. I haven't drilled into the item details.

Hi there! I'm glad you liked them, I actually did consider using the promo image you mentioned as my Main, but decided against it as I worried it wouldn't show the range of leather textures I was offering. I didn't want users to mistakenly think that it was just a Suede pack. But looking back at it I wish I had! Even Destiny's Design, my promo artist, thought we should have! But it's only my second product so far, so hopefully I can learn from my mistakes

I think Destiny's Design have done a fantastic job with those images. In my opinion, your promo picture is amazing and I think it's a good choice. Grats on your second product, hope it sell well. I'll definitely buy it.

That's the best suede shader I've seen! Thanks for posting it blown up because I doubted the displacement from viewing the promos in the store at regular size. I have several leather shader packs, but I went through your promos when this was released hoping for a convincing distressed leather offer. This will be worth it just for the suede though. Your custom color palette was a great idea too.
