@Pam - great idea. I'm not so sure more background is needed. Sometimes less is more. Perhaps you could open FOV a bit or move the camera a bit back to give the right knee a bit more room. I like the composition as it is, I just find the frame is a bit close to everything and think a bit openness could be an improvement.
Nice render as it is. I agree with Horo. Think of the rule of thirds and move the viewport so that the eyes are near the top right cross and leave enough room to the left of her knee so that she appears to be moving into the scene rather than leaving it.
I see everyone has been busy rendering some great artwork...Here is my take on the fire and Ice theme...something a little different from me this is the final.....Trish.....Title: The Battle
@adbc... nice image... great colors on the mountains in the distance... a bit surreal feeling..
Thanks to Guss, Mermaid, Horo, Chohole, Fishtales for your very nice comments...
Now I need to look for inspiration for a third entry...
Keep all these great renders coming...

First WIP for me
Fire Dancer As the sun sets on Winter Solstice she starts her dance.
I think I need more in the back ground, but don't want to obscure the colour in the sky from the setting sun, plus the sun
That is lovely and an interesting concept, chohole. Hadn't thought doing personification of Winter Solstice.
@Pam: Looks nice.

Trish
That's nice, very comic/Anime-esk style.
I agree, nice Draggies.
@Trish - great idea, sky and dragies are both ice and fire. Great material on the dragies, too.
Thanks to all: I don't even know where I got the materials....they are different kinds of gemstones.....
@Trish: That's a really neat image. Looking at a larger version really shows what neat material you used.
Thank you Guss
Wow Trish beautiful render
Nice one, Bullit...very psychedelically done...a clash of colours.

@chohole... Really nice... and that sky and setting sun is great.
@trish... that fire and ice is very cool... and trippy

Excellent render mtnmen.

This my first one. "Ice on fire" not very original title but suitable anyway.
