Increase the details with AB Greebles Generator plugin. Quickly create complex structures from simple objects, even primitives, by automatically extrude their facets.

Apply to all facets in a 3D object, or only to a random fraction or a group of selected facets.

    Looks great.

Do objects created with Greebles Generator become automatically UV mapped,

so there will be no distorsion, when textures or shaders will be applied to such objects?

By the way. Do you think you could recreate some tools available for Dreams on PS 4

and make them available in Daz Studio?

    Yes, they automatically UV mapped.

You could ask the plugin to create new materials (surfaces) for the greebles in the object. Or you can ask it to stretch the existing one.

Very much looking forward to trying this plugin, so I bought and installed as soon as it was available.

Unfortunately, I have no serial number in my account to enable the plugin.  Any help would be appreciated.

I reported this issue to Daz. Please, anyway submit a ticket (https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new).

I've submitted a ticket.  Very disappointed in Daz over such an obvious oversight.

Similar problem happened previously with serial number to Fluidos II - hope Daz support will fix it before weekend.

I plan to use Greebles Generator extensively.

This is a great idea and might be very cool for audio visualization! Might get Fluidos II after all at some point to support further development. Cheers!

I'm sorry. I don't control the serial numbers assignment. sad

I already reported this issue to Daz. Let me know, please, when you get your serial number.

I am still waiting for the serial number, as well.

I have bought many products from Daz 3D store, that required serial numbers, and got serial number right after the purchase.

So far as I know, it only happens with Alberto products: now with Greebles Generator and previously with Fluidos II.

I just wonder, if Alberto could point Daz 3D support, that serial number problems frequently happen with his products

and take some steps, to prevent it happen in the future again.

Last time, with Fluidos II, I got my serial number a week after submitting a ticket.

I was hoping to play with Greebles Generator this weekend,

but apparently I need to postpone my apetite to a later time.

In the meantime, Alberto, could you please explain, how you did this image.

I see a lot of usage for the grass.

  • WendyLuvsCatzWendyLuvsCatz Posts: 38,217

it has happened to me with other products

and yes it it is not Alberto's fault

Just apply the generator to the terrain, using non-symetrical extrusion. Then, apply the generator again on the resulting object.

Maybe you need to change the default values of heights and widths, depending on your terrain.

This is the pane with default values:

    Thanks a lot, Alberto.

I will probably ask more questions, after I start using Greebles Generator.

I just downloaded the greebles generator through the DIM (two packages greeble generator and greeble generator for Daz ...)

Now I tried to find the greebles pane but it's not there, anything I should have done before? (tried to follow the manual there)

Check that you have a serial number or not, and put in a help request with DAZ.

We're all waiting for DAZ to issue serials.

I've been reading about that here, but I was never even asked for a serial number and didn't see where that need to be put
