Yes. If the different vegetable patches are individually loadable, then add-on packages would be very welcome. Could swapthem out or move them around, have a double cornfield, or whatever arrangement one decided one needed.

A farm with actual crops. Why has it taken so long? (Although that's unfair, I think there are some really, really old ones, but they're a weird format and not very convincing.)

    Garden patches props, awesome!

Any chance of a single plant from each as a prop?

I'll definitely buy this, this is a must-have considering the lack of farm props out there.  But I'd like to ask, will there be an animated tractor with a trailer included, even if we have to wait for a newer version?

The product looks really interesting, but after I do mainly comics these products ist more ore less useless for me, withouth interior.

What about an interior addon (house and barn)?

  • Ok so I have created a single plant for each. pumpkin, cabbage, tomato, potato, corn, also I made some walls and stairs inside the house. no furnature though. Also all the doors and windows are animatable.

This is looking great! Really well done. One small suggestion: the bricks on the chimney of the house look too large to me. They're more like construction blocks, and firebricks are smaller.

Man, that cornfield is just gorgeous.

    yes

  • I was meh until the interior was roughed out. Now I'm going to buy it. One suggestion for the interior add-on would be to have a classic farm house style along with a more upscale "renovated" look.
  • Yea I was thinking the interiour could be like a mordern but rustic looking feal.

I just realized that there may be one thing missing to really round this out... something simple but needed... a mailbox that can be put at the roadside.  Living way out in the farmlands one would need this... no?  Of course it would need the options for a red metal flag up and down and the main box door to open and close!  wink

That can always be added from somewhere else. I'm pretty sure that there are at least a few of them out there.

  • sorry guys. I was out of town for a few days. Yes I agree a mailbox would be perfect. but it cold be added later.

  • hahaha sounds all good. But I have already sent it to PASS for processing, so will see how it goes. thanks everyone for all your wonderful support and ideas.

Nice.  The vegetable patches even look small enough to fit in some backyards.

Count me as another instabuy!  Any add-on packs will probably be, cough-cough, "harvested" immediately.  Nyuck-nyuck-nyuck!

In my cart.  In retrospect, though, it would be nice to have a crop of marijuana plants for those Colorado farm scenes. :)

Find a good one and use instancing. In fact, can do that with a lot of things, now that we have the actual plots to put them in.

There is no "load all" environment. Or am I blind. blush

  • Maybe the reason for the lack of "Load All" environment is due to a slower loading time, methinks.

Either way, "On the Farm" is added to my wishlist.

I was thinking that same thing. That the size of those plots expanded the usefulness of the set. You could use those on a rooftop for a city garden. Or in a subrubia backyard.

You're not blind. Here's hoping the Add On set will include presets, though I'm setting up my own scene with eight instances of the ground prop as a base - very much a trial and error effort.
