This FREE, if admittedly impractical costume is that of the woman from the original cover of the 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master's Guide, complete with dagger. (The lady clutched in the efreeti's hand.) The skirt is poseable but can easily be converted to dynamic (as TrekkieGrrrl has demonstrated).

Considering the design, it would also make a decent (though perhaps too decent) outfit for Dejah Thoris, Thuvia, or some other Barsoomian lady.

    Hair not included.

So today I played with Elizabeth in DAZ. I did as Wendy said to do, bring her into DAZ and then convert to triax. Works very well. Even some of her morphs came along in the conversion. Clothing played nice except for some of the shoes. I did have to flip some of the body textures her face and body parts. I also had to make traditional bump files because DAZ just would not use the normal map properly. So here is my Elizabeth.

  • Thank you so very much for the figure.  I'm in the process of installing her now.

  • I have been trying to register with both my emails and no joy there, I enter all the information  and click ok then the beach ball just spins. I left it be for an hour and it still won't register me. Is there any other way to get this little girl?

My main email didn't work either. I had to use an old gmail acount to register. I'm not sure why the site is getting hung up on the address.

First off the textures, what Dodger has done is set the U&V scale in Poser to flip the textures, what that means in DS is set vertical tiling to -1.00 and you will also have the textures flipped. Don't do it to all of them though as I think it's just the skin surfaces that need it.

2nd the morphs, they do actually work, problem is the age old issue of Poser ERC in DS, basically you need to edit the CR2 to fix the ERC for it to work in DS.

The issue - actor BODY:2 with the ERC looking for BODY:1, in Poser that means it's looking for the 2nd instance of actor BODY in the scene, now Poser changes the instance number on actors but I don't think it changes it in the ERC, so if you load Elizbeth into a scene first she will get changed to actor BODY:1 which matches the ERC.
Now in DS BODY:2 is seen as the actor name rather than name and instance number, so it will always be BODY:2 in DS which means the ERC's BODY:1 will never find the dial it's trying to link to.

TBH it's not worth the hastle, basically she needs completely rebuilt from the ground up in DS, keep the mesh and the skeleton, but bin the rigging and the morphs and start over from there. Sadly the same is true for all Poser content in DS, load it, pose it, render it, but don't ever be dumb enough to try to convert it.

Thanks for making it available on ShareCG, now I can finaly download and try it. Also great work with Your site, I need to download a lot of new things from there too. I love how You do things, just very nice and should try to make something with all that soon :)

    Thank You very much!

oh and her textures need flipping and resaving in another folder and reapplied for DS as DS cannot rotate or flip textures

How do you flip the textures?

I did it one by one manually in Microsoft Paint

@Dodger, since we've got Ka D'argo, do you think you could do E2 as Chiana?  wink
