Thanks for the links, very helpful.
Another question for all: are there any free morphs to make M4 more muscular, like a superhero/fantasy warrior character?
also looking for older V3 armor, if there are any working old links or poser free stuff sites ?
Hello! i am looking for Mecha wings. If there are any free ones out there? for V3/4 etc
like the ones that RDNA had for free. Techno wings
If you're using V3, the V2 wings should work pretty well: the first 3 Vickis were almost exactly the same body shape and mostly differ in rigging (and mesh updates to accommodate the new rigging/mapping).
i am, yes. and these mecha wings, i have no more :( i had a backup and another backup, but my oldest laptop wont start, plus my exteral HD is So ancient ^^. From 2005
Can you not take the HDD out of the dead laptop and put it in a USB caddy to transfer the files over? We did that 3 years ago from a 2001 dated laptop.
Regards,
Richard.
I'm looking to create Hogwarts robe like the following image. Does anyone know of any freebie(s)?
I did try a dForce poncho and vaguely intended to have a cloak as my next item. It didn't work as I wanted & my model got a bit upset about it all (mildly NSFW image dated Dec 23 2021 image in my Renderosity gallery). So, sorry, I abandoned the idea and I haven't got one.
Regards,
Richard.
Does anyone know where I can get a low poly model of hair that looks like this guy's hair?
Check-out these messy/matted 80's hair styles...
Zac Hair For Genesis 8.1 and 8 Male by Den (at RenderHub) - This hair style is quite similar to your photos.
or the older Brit Hair for Genesis 2 Male(s) here at Daz:
https://www.daz3d.com/brit-hair-for-genesis-2-male-s
Hi, robertswww. Thanks for your reply. I actually already have Brit Har for G2M, and I have an old version of Zac hair for Gen 4 figures. I also have Gen 4 figure hair called Taylor hair, which I think looks the closest to Abel Albonetti's previous hair style. However, I am looking for a low poly, "video gamey" version of that hair style. Like a hair model you would see in Fortnite or Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
@scar_hand What about adjusting those hair products you already own...
With some hair products, make sure the resolution level is set to Base Resolution and not high resolution and/or lower the SubDivision Level (SubD Level).
Then, add a Smoothing Modifier (Edit-Object-Geometry-Add Smoothing Modifier) and adjust the iterations for Mesh Smoothing.
Next, to make it game-ready, try lowering the mesh resolution using Decimator (it's expensive, but on-sale now):
https://www.daz3d.com/decimator-for-daz-studio
MeshLab can also Decimate (see "Simplification, Refinement and Remeshing" under FEATURES):
https://www.meshlab.net/
Also, check out this video about using Decimator...

@forgarbage2331 You might be able to re-texture this free robe (via Rendo) to get it to look like a Hogwarts robe...

Thank you! I was able to remove the hood with D-former
Anyone know of a bendable belt? something like this.
You can load a cr2 in DS and convert it using the transfer utility...
@ forgarbage2331 Glad to hear that I was able to help you out with the freebie Robe :)
As for a bendable belt, you can get this freebie... Leather Belt with Silver Buckle 3D Model by cjb3d at RenderHub
Hello all,
I would LOVE to get a Sci-Fi Bodysuit (with sci-fi textures) for Gruggle Monk. Preferrably with hands and feet exposed. Any chance for any takers?
-MJ
@MJ007 Are you asking for someone to make you a custom bodysuit to fit Gruggle Monk? If so, hopefully someone will chime-in to create that for you.
Brainstorming out-of-the-box, here's a few other ideas...
Make a geoshell of his body, then hide the hands and feet via the Visibility parameter, and give the geoshell a sci-fi texture.
Or start with the free, Gruggle Monk Tshirt (and then add some attached shorts and texture with a sci-fi pattern)
https://www.sharecg.com/v/66691/gallery/11/Poser/Gruggle-Monk-Tshirt
You may also want to experiment with using an existing freebie bodysuits (see links below) and then turn off limits and stretch them, or use Mesh Grabber to manipulate the polygons and pull and push them until the bodysuit fits.
Adam Thwaites has several free bodysuits, just search for "Bodysuit" on his Free Stuff page. This one you may like the best...

There's also the Fantasy Post Mill by DryJack with 2 download sources:

Thank you both.
I actually tried that, but my skills are not up to that kinda challenge to pull it off successfully. Hope i can get someone to help me out, othrwise i will just have to keep trying as i really want a body-suit for this guy.

The link doesn't reach a zip.
No, it doesn't. However I figured it out after a few days.
There is a message stating:
Click here to search for all archived pages under http://www.poseatier.com/discfree/. Click the link and then scroll down the list on the resulting page, until you see the Windmill. Click that and then click on any of the years which contain a black bar, e.g. 2011. You'll see 17 Aug being highlighted, move the cursor to that and click on the snapshot time link. The download page will then appear.
So this copy of the link goes to the page:Welcome to poseAtier.com (archive.org). Kerya's copy of the link got corrupted and there is an extra space on the end of it. Not her fault. Here is the link from the Wiki:
Architecture - Poser and Daz Studio Free Resources Wiki (miraheze.org) look for Old Windmill. It is about half way down the "O" list.
Sorry - I somehow included an empty space after the link (don't ask me how) - I edited my message.

I've been trying to find this crown without any success, anyone got a lead for me?
