Thanks for the explanation, unfortunately much to my disadvantage, I only use Bryce 3D, a bit of Wings 3D and some Fractal software.
Mtnmen - Poor guy, awesome scary scene
StuartB- Cool idea love the bright colors.
Hansmar - I agree the lighting is better.
@ mtnmen: Very scary. I like it.
@ StuartB: Very misterious and well done.
@ Hansar: The light in version two is better. Very well.
_In space no one can hear you scream _
Love the toy theme, Henryhor...but still creepy though.
Mtnmen...I won't get any sleep tonight
Stuart...original - I was trying to think of a work that would go against the 'Dark of the Night', but I see it's in capable hands
First entry: The Dark Web
Jay
Henryhor, Mermaid, Drachenlords: thanks.
Jay: Now that's a scary render. And, very well done!
Thanks very much Mermaid, Drachenlords and Jay.
@Jay. Nice idea. That's how I feel some late nights spending too much time on trying to get an image right. :)
This is my 3rd entry.
Mordor By Night.
@ Jamahoney: thanks.
Hope it doesn't bite. Cool idea and well done. Fun mouse.
@ StuartB: excellent texture work. Makes me think of Tàpies
Jay - excellent. Friendly chap helping with typing.
StuartB - outstanding view from above, fantastic terrain and materials.
Jay - cool unusual idea, awesome render.
StuartB - great view, nice terrain and materials.
Cheers, Hansmar.
Yeah, Stuart...been there at night, too. PS. I love the use of the bathers in Mordor by Night...hahe
Thanks Henryhor and Horo
Mermaid...thanks...always a fan
Jay
Hansmar : the 2nd version looks better.
Jamahoney : a bit scary but really well done. Excellent idea.
StuartB : Awesome textured terrain.
My last entry : The darkest night. I usedd all free objects offered by Mortem Vetus.
adbc - very well done entry. The guy looks starved. You could put some nice food next to him/her just joking.
Cheers AdBc...don't know how you pulled it off, but your skeleton has character to it (must be how you posed it - a very hard thing to achieve with just bones, but well done).
@ adbc: that's one skinny photo model. I would even say bony. Sexy pose though. Nicely done.
Horo, Jamahoney, Henryhor : thanks for the kind comments.
Adbc - excellent work
mermaid : thank you.
@ Jamahoney: The Dark Web - made cool, great idea and very good title. Nobody knows who serves your PC in Dark Net.
@ adbc: Very nice. Like a classic painting.
StuartB: Fantastically textured and rendered Mordor!
adbc: Sorry I'm late. Have you been waiting long? Oh, I see, a bit too long . Wonderful render. And thanks.
Yeah, thanks, Drachenlords...the dark side can sometimes be really dark.
Jay
drachenlords, Hansmar : thank you !
Thanks very much everyone.
@adbc. Looks like one that got away from Jason and the Argonauts. Great pose.
Horo, hansmar, henryhor, adbc, mermaid010, drachenlords, jamahoney, Thanks for the comments
@stuartb... No Idea... very cool "contained" World Just appeared, huh?
@hansmar...yes, the lighting is better
@jamahoney.. Dark Web. is Great! almost as scary as the actual one...
@stuartb... Mordor by Night wonderfully textured image.. very nice
@adbc... The Darkest Night is really a beautiful image...the pose of the skinny guy is really fetching..
Here is my second entry, I had been working on and off...
Title: Ah, Listen, Children of the night (what music they make)
Cheers, Mtmmen...and love the title. The scene brings back so many memories of the old Hammer horror feature films with Chrisopher Lee as Dracula where, in innocence, he scared the bejesus out of one
We recently had an interview (it's in Potcast format - see top of page for sound options in link) with authors Dacre Stoker (great grand-nephew of Bram Stoker) and J. D. Barker concerning a prequal book about Dracula - called Dracul.
Very interesting, if one is in to such.
Jay
StuartB, mtnmen : thank you.
mtnmen : Beautiful scene. The priest looks really scared.
mtnman - very well done interior scene, looks a bit scary.
Thanks mtnmen.
@ mtnmen: wonder what they are talking about? NASDAQ, Dow Jones? Well done.
