I wanted to ask him if the Enterprise model he made on RH could have additional names and numbers for it, and will we see more ships in the future?smiley

this is actually a great idea... having the ability of using other names and registries other then the Enterprise would be welcomed.

I would certainly recommend the NVent3d and Bluto "Trailblazer " (on "Rendo....we cannot say the name" ) for a TOS uniform.
They were created for G3, but with the Autofit utility, will work well for G8.

    Trailblazer G3M sci-fi Uniform for Genesis 3

    Trailblazer G3M sci-fi Uniform for Genesis 3

In addituion, Bluto provide some awesome props.

For obvious reasons, the badge and colors are not canon.  But they can be retextured.

At the time my system "pooped out" I was playing with them to make a free addon.  As I'm still technically a novice for DAZ Studio, I'm learning more about IRay and the process has been slow going.

I was also planning to provide addl TOS badges to replace the default.  In addition to the Enterprise, I will be making badges (Command, Science, Systems/Engineering, Medical) for multiple ships.  These will be in the form of png files.

thanks for the plug and  review ,

fyi  the trail blazer uniforms have been updated for g8 figures

For those asking, we are working on SNW stuff as well as updating our Trailblazer products. It is a Brave New World in our digital toybox. For more info PM me or Bluto

The Renderhub Star Trek collection just added some Deep Space Nine.

Now we just need sets from the show.

Would love a DS9 promenade. Even if I had to convert it.

The only DS9 set that I have seen is Vanishing Points's Officers Quarters for DAZ.

Nice. I should buy the Poser version. It's on sale for 50% off.

I would totally buy a  model of Voyager-type officer's quarters. Janeway's, Tuvok's, and Chakotay's quarters were just redresses of the Mess Hall set, I think, so those are easy to kitbash out of other VanishingPoint sets. But other officers had those weird colored tubes above the beds.

And weirdly huge bathrooms. Water shower, sonic shower, and a bathrub the size of a studio apartment. And those drawer-style sinks, where you pull them out and get a little waterfall.

    That looks really good!

Nice. Though I think some of them are more successful than others. IMO, the V3 Seven character is still the best Seven available.

The bodies seem pretty generic. They all look the same, even though Seven, B'Elanna, and Janeway have very different builds. I assume that could be fixed with the standard morphs.

I do like the Torres and Janeway head morphs.

you would have to ask invent3d

  • IMHO, it's because it's very form-fitting and the mesh has issues compensating.
