    Yes, I've just discovered Wrap3 models this week. I only know you and one other using it though. Is it difficult to learn? Do you need to own the game you're aquiring the models from? (I assume so). I'd love to have a go at it myself!

    I think I can best describe Wrap3 as "Better-FaceGen" as it transfers shapes and textures from model to model. And there is no limit to how many points you can select for accuracy. I normally do 100 to 115, hence why my G8 conversions look exactly like the original game model. Most game developers are generally okay with fanartists using the game's models. One in particular that I've used models from in the past outright said they see it as free publicity.

    Does this count as Star Trek? I mean, I've heard many people (including George Takei) say that Galaxy Quest was one of the best Star Trek films of all time!

    Sorry for the Bump: Anyone know where i can find this warpsled?  I've looked on Trekmeshes, and all they have is the shuttle. not sled.

    Looking at the details of the shuttlecraft, I see you've just used the textures exactly as they apply. I've discovered that the UVMapping of (I think) all the surfaces is offset — I fixed them by shifting the tiling offset values for each surface until I'd guesstimated the proper positions.

    What's really annoying me about this model, though, is the lack of textures for the warp sled. I've found photos of the original movie prop, and it has the same kind of purple-ish colour scheme as the shuttlecraft, plus Vulcan text along the sides.

    Speaking of which, I got that to work on the shuttle by using the Alpha and Decal maps and the Diffuse Overlay parameters (must be in Metallicity/Roughness mode to use this). Put the Alpha maps into Diffuse Overlay Weight (set the value to 1), and the Decal maps into Diffuse Overlay Color. You won't see the overlay until you render, but don't worry about everything matching with the offsets, all the maps are moved at the same time.

    There's one as a 3DS file* on The Celestia Motherlode. You'll need to scale it, of course.

    * I think. If not, it's as a CMOD, which will require writing a script to convert to something you can otherwise read. But hey, the specs for the file format are partly publlished on the Celestia download site!

    There's no Babylon 5 thread, which is a shame, but it means I'm gonna plug this here Minbari in here. Go have him invade Deep Space 9 or debate a Vulcan or something maybe.

    Magnificent Seven is just cowboy Seven Samurai, and Battle Beyond the Stars is plenty comedic, whether intentionally or not.

    I should probably make one, plus uniform. I already have the season 1 sash (in the TOS) but it would need reversed.

The add-on pack will include the sash and several different decorations to declare which house the particular warrior comes from so stay tuned

    I think if/when you make these available for download, they're going to be the default, go-to option for many people.
