    Table for Castaways

Workable prototype attached while the forum allows.  I intend to revise with fewer modeled grass hanging and an alpha applied to the dropped grass panels.  I have included the hair used for the modeling if you want to not use the mesh grass.

The bamboo car looks great, Stezza.  But how are y'all successfully posting pics?  I've tried several times this morning.  Still no go.

Forum uploads weren't working for me for weeks, then suddenly this morning I was able to upload an attachment.  I can't explain it, maybe they finally fed the dying hamster and he started up running on the wheel again to re-power the site... :)

Gilligan's island was one of my favorite olde tyme shows when I was a kid, I remember dying laughing every episode.

Then once I saw a bit of an old black and white show called Dobie Gillis and I couldn't believe my eyes.  How did Gilligan get off the island??!!  My mind was blown.  :)

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I find that your custom models are way more appealing and have more character than this guy.

    Great job on the cart!

Cool.  But I said that because I was trying to say things that some of the characters in there would say - concerning the approaching calamity for your computer.  But...cool!

I never knew that Snagglepuss was pink.  We didn't have a color TV when I was a kid.  I only knew the Pink Panther was pink, because it was his name.

Great collage.  I love searching through for some of my favorites.  The Martian from Bugs Bunny might be it.

I think you have a future in advertising. :)

Everything is really good, but those box surfaces are exceptional.  Did you do the lettering in Carrara?  PSE? UV map?

For sure on this one I wish it was bigger so it was easier to read.  I only have a 24" monitor.  Maybe on your bigger monitor it looks bigger?

    smiley

@unifiedbrain .... the graphics I did in PSE after UV'ing the cube and giving each side it's own shading domain e.g. front box. back box, sides and top and bottom.

I didn't save the scene file but I'll do another one and render bigga for you to see wink

thanks @unifiedbrain, honestly, it was all just rack of the eye stuff, just guessed the measurements .... it's based on an Aussie cereal called Weet-Bix and I have a box in the pantry. The graphics are all mine as well except for the nutritional info on the side which I plundered laugh

I mean, I wasn't going to write all that stuff out  devil

lots of layers see screen shot of my PSE psd file
