  • Yes - Kaspersky is known to give a false postive reading for that file. You may, of course, want to use an on-demand scanner such as malwareBytes as a double-check.

At least they are giving the option this time...

  • Hello, I too am having issues with my Kaspersky program interfering with Daz 3d. It keeps giving me false positives and then when I try to load the program, it blocks any and all file associated with it. It's driving me crazy. I've unloaded and reloaded the Daz program and still keep getting the same result.

here a file of what I just got from my vulnerability scan.

Yes, freeimage.dll and Kaspersky have been at odds lately.  Freeimage has been defined as a 'hacking tool' and not malware itself!

You need to whitelist it, Postgre...and everything else Daz related (I'm surprised they aren throwing a fit about Qt stuff) it's seems Kaspersky has gone anti-OpenSource or something.
