Difficulties to fit shoes to the feet

I have bought 'Perfect Shoes and Stockings for Genesis' and have tried to get the shoes on the feet of my Genesis 2 modell. But they do not fit nicely. In such cases I normally open the context menu and try the function 'Fit to...". But the function does not appear in the menu here (please see the attachment). Therefore I have tried to apply the "Smoothing modifier" function, which gives normally quite good results, too. But it did not work here either as you can see in the picture attached.

I think this is because the product was made for Genesis and uses the previous methode to fit clothes and shoes to the figure. If I am not totally wrong, it has to do with the term 'Parent'. Unfortunately I hardly know this methode and any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks

They are "prop shoes" - they don't have bones or rigging, so they can't be fit to. Instead you need to parent them to the feet and then adjust their placement and the feet's pose to get them to fit.
