Active Pose Rendering

I have just installed 4.9 and I'm trying to use my old content. When I try to pose my figure using any method (active pose tool, universal tool, posing tab), the figure does not move with the joint--I'm only shown the node's bounding box moving, then when I reach my final position and let go, the figure updates. I've never had this problem before with previous versions--have I just failed to tick a box to customize a feature? It's pretty hard to fine-tune a pose when you can't see what you're doing!

In the Manpulation group of Draw Settings change Manipualtion Binding to Full, instead of Optimised.

  • I did a standard 4.9 installation; is it possible power pose wouldn't be there? I don't see the option under Active Pose tool settings, and I don't seem to have Power Pose.

  • ...or maybe I'm expecting to find it in the wrong place. I'm looking at tool settings for Active Pose (not seeing Power Pose tool). Am I in the wrong place?

Sorry, I mis-read your question - it's the Draw Style setting under manipulation that you need to alter.

PowerPose is a pane, not a tool.

  • Probably need to back me up another step. Where is Manipulation? I was expecting to find it in the tool settings of Active Pose below the accuracy slider, but there's nothing there.

  • Wait,....I think I found it.  Back in a second...

Found it! Thanks very much. I've been using Daz for years but I never worked with that before. Thanks for you patience:)
