i render a lot of nudes. but, i'm not a dude.

Do you render a lot of nude gals? (I assume you are heterosexual since I think you have fantasies about men, specially the sexy men)

What is disturbing about doing tasteful nude renders? I hope you do not go to an art museum as it should have lots of old paintings of nudes. Some of the Renaissance artists even did nude statutes.

I do not have any problems with tasteful nudes. I do not like porn. I do not mind erotic fantasy as long as the story line is good and has plenty of supernatural beings. I like True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse books. I like Bill and Eric. Specially in True Blood, Eric is so sexy.

To be honest, I gotta agree on this one. I studied art, and the bulk of the workload was working with live nude models. There's nothing wrong with it. And isn't at all pornographic art which is what I assume you think it is. Pick up any art book on the human figure/artists who draw/paint people and I guarantee you a large chunk of the book will be nudes.

It's all about the artists interpretation of the human figure, and to study it in it's limitless forms. If you can master drawing a nude then creating a fully clothed character will be so much more realistic. As an artist, it's important to be able to visualize what's in the artwork but hidden or covered from sight. We were taught to start with the skeleton, add muscles, add skin, add clothing. It's how we learn.

So it would not be unusual for someone to do nude renders of the opposite sex (or even the same sex even if they are heterosexual)

And my point still stands, oh wonder of wonders V_V

@Spyro: Full nudity in any form I am not comfortable with. There is no such thing as "Tasteful" nudity in my mind and I strongly disagree with any institution or school that has live and fully nude models standing in front of a class or even pictures of such. MEDICAL schools is one thing, as they often NEED to study that. Artists don't - they can do with just wearing some simple clothed over it.

I've said my thoughts on the matter and have no desire to continue debating it.

Again, I'm out until the thread is normal again.

when the Hulk transformed, he managed to retain some clothes.

the were-dragons in my story don't retain their outfits after they shape change. the werewolf of London didn't either.

Realistic I guess... Most fabrics wont expand. Even stretchy fabrics have very high limitations.

I imagine the stretching until the tearing would be quite painful for the morphing individual.

I not very good at clothing conversions even on daz lol. I never used cararra before, but WendyCats does all the time, you should ask her, I reckon she'd have some good tricks up her sleeve. Last I spoke to her was on the stupid thread.

Morning. Sunny Monday morning and hand-over-ears noisy and unpleasantly crowded for some reason in the city, must be a back-to-school or work or something day today :)

All your nice weather is here today. We had a (self-described) 3D hobbyist in looking for freelance work OMG the quality of her work is astounding. Nearly asked her Daz handle but thought it might be rude My work seems prejudiced against hobbyists for all the wrong reasons, ah well not up to me but wow astounding renders of the fantasy genre kind :)

I had two facebook accounts but now I just use one. I can only log in with the current account. I tried calling the number I found for tech support, but they were saying it cost money, too much for my taste. Will they ban my working account because I have more than one account?

Pets take a small piece of your heart when the pass, and fill you with so much while they live.
That is sad, specially when it is a lovely and loved pet.

My friend was devoted to her dog for 12 years, is obviously suffering (and everything I said commiserating sounded so lame) *helpless*
