I did just notice that IRay isn't listed in Rebus specs. I'm curious if there is a cloud render solution for IRay that DAZ could tie into to give people this type of alternative to local rendering. Moving forward it seems that local rendering may be more be suitable for preview type rendering for many people due to the constant cost of upgrading hardware to keep up with the changing expectations we have as new technology is coming out. Combine this with the fact that many people are continuing to move to portable devices like notebooks as we become more mobile. I realize that many content creators and artists use dedicated desktops but many in the art community are moving to a mobile workspace.
In several of the long Iray related threads there are some hints, that at some point in the future there will be a 'farm' option, but as of right now, it's a big 'not yet'...with no real timeframe.
