Male Character Model: Lee Pace (Celeb, with Pictures)
Hi folks! Since I couldn't model a character if my life depended on it, I'll just throw it out as a request. :)
I've been looking high and low for a good Male model of Lee Pace for my Middle Earthy renders.
I've seen so many 'sets' of characters, where you get 1 skin and 2 or 3 alternates, I think this might be a fun one for someone to make.
Since he's such a versatile guy, serving perfectly as a hunky human...
As an elf (Thranduil from the Hobbit)...
As a Vampire (Garret from .. the 'vampire' movie which has been so popular)....
Even as an alien (Ronan the Accuser, Guardians of the Galaxy).
Hinkypunk's Vulluin is gorgeous, but not quite... him. ANd ofcourse, not as versatile.
Anyone want to pick up that challenge? I'd be the first in line to buy!

Hm. I've been looking at this guy off and on for about a year trying to decide if a morph that would be close to his facial features would be worth the trouble. lol I normally don't do exact morphs, but suggestive of the person that it is based off of.
I don't know that you are going to get closer than Vulluin without a complete ripoff of Lee... You can get Vulluin and make some further adjustments to him with Morphs ++ to get him to look closer to fit your needs, but unless DM wants to make one for G3M, thats as close as we are really "allowed" to get.
Yeah- I try not to get an "exact" sort of morph to match just to make sure lawsuits aren't thrown around like sticks at a dog park. It may be a month (I'm leaving for a week or so in July to visit family) but I'll see what I can come up with character-wise and post up pics/wip's. ;)
Vullvuin is pretty close! Nice one, Hinky.
Technically, it's illegal to create a likeness of a real person and then sell it without their permission. If the movie studios ever came looking through the 3D stores, they'd have a fit. It's copyright infringement. It doesn't pertain only to characters, clothing or location. If you sell a likeness of someone, they can sue you for it. Actors make a living off their likeness.
Well, that's not really true. Plenty of very big and very successful commerical media companies do that all the time, even impersonating the voices. Of course, it's polite not to use such art if you were to create it in a defamatory way, but even there if you look at the movies and such shows they appear in they haven't got a leg to stand on in that complaint either. Still, that's not a reason for tit-for-tat.
