Carrara does not finish loading in Mavericks

Has anyone else had an issue with Carrara not finishing startup in Mavericks 10.9.5?
The software loads all the panes and dispalys the spash - then that's it. thoughts?

    I'm running Yosemite now, but I used to use it in Mavericks before upgrading without problems. What version of Carrara are you using? Has it ever run or is it a new install? did you try removing the preferences?

    Thanks for you response BrianP21361. I was able to figure this one out. Apparently the Software Icon that ppulates in Launchpad is corrupted in some way. I went to the actual Carrara 8.5 folder in Finder and double clicked - everything loaded correctly. I then dragged that Icon onto my dock. Good to go:)
