Imagine...  The already super-versatile Merimay dress... 

....Able to accept the hundreds of various textures for the most popular dress in all DAZ/Poser history  :O  :O  :O !!!!!!!!!

I don't know if Aave Nainen reads these forums or not, but I was under the impression that one or more forumites are.
It seems like this should be possible, looking at the shape of both dresses (though maybe the skirt would be prone to stretching)

(Adjustments would also have to be made as far as MFD expansion pieces if you wanted to use texture sets that included MFD+ expansions-- I'm sure it wouldn't be perfect, but it seems like one could load the MFD, give it a similar pose + fine tune it to minimize pokethrough, then make it invisible as a sort of workaround.)
