Hotei the Laughing Buddha

This one is near and dear to me, although it may not suit the tastes of many people. Hotei is a Buddhist deity and one of the Seven Gods of Fortune. He is often mistaken for Buddha himself, because some consider him to be an incarnation of Maitreya. According to legend, he was once an eccentric Chan monk, always laughing and smiling, and offering bits of wisdom to those who encountered him. Statues of him can be found throughout SE Asia, and it is said to be good luck to rub his belly.

    Thanks, I should have mentioned that its a morph for Genesis 3 Male.

    I just wish there was a suitable robe for him.

    Most Genesis 2 clothing works pretty well on Genesis 3 with autofit

    I'm separating out the morphs so that people can mix/match. The ears, body, and head will be separate morphs, and there will be a Hotei dial which combines them if desired.

    By the way, I highly recommend that people buy Capsces Tooned Expressions for The Guy 7. A truly excellent package to get exaggerated expressions.

    Sorry, I found some problems with the morph and had to suspend the link. It will be up soon enough.

    The more that goes into the morph, the more complicated it gets to roll it out without flaws. My apologies.

    The original link is now active. Unfortunately, I had to sacrifice diversity for stability. It is now a single morph, but I was able to channel some of the time towards adding a few JCMs so that he deforms better.

    Files have been updated. There was a problem with the teeth which has been corrected. Now I can work towards improvements rather than fixes.

    Update required to fix a JCM issue. The ERC links to the JCMs were broken while fixing the teeth. They should now only be triggered when using Hotei. crying

    Massive improvements in the latest update. I have finally corrected all existing issue, but if you notice anything wonky, please let me know.

    Note: If you downloaded this morph prior to 4/5/2016, you MUST delete the folder contents (e.g. 'My DAZ Library/data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 3/Male/Morph/Mythcons/Hotei') before installing this one. Otherwise you risk duplicate formula errors and other morphing wonkiness).

    Sorry for any inconvenience. At least I know what not to do in the future.

    You can't with DAZ Studio or that morph on their own but if you buy this products then you'd be able to:
