Stonemason's Modular Sci-Fi Kit 02

I recently bought this kit from Daz store.

I really like it but I have some problems to align correctly the "pieces" of the kit.

I usually align props using Daz Studio grid in the viewport. When I use primitives (planes, cubes, etc) I usually create them with standard (1 meter) size: so they fit into the grid and it's easy to combine them into groups and translate them with "integer" coordinates.

It couldn't find an "easy" way to align the pieces of the kit (I also tried to rescale them to fit 1 meter length - about 92%) but the result isn't good and there are still empty spaces visible.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to download an "example" block to start from?

Thanks.

Paolo

Trying using the Align tool in Daz Studio.

    Windows>Panes(Tabs)> Align

I find that it works great for lining up the wall pieces; some of the floor and ceiling stuff requires one to get a little creative.

Try using the Align pane - that works on the order in which the items are selected.
