DIM isn't updating the product list

The last several purchases that I made and installed with DIM did not update the product list. How do I fix that and get it to update what it missed?

Which product list? In DIM, a file/folder list in DS (Content Library>Daz Studio Formats, except the Daz Connect container) or a DS database-driven view (Smart Content, presets tabs, Cateogries or Products in the Content Library)?
Smart Content isn't being updated and these folders (see attachment) aren't being updated. I've been using DAZ for several years since G2 came out and it's always been working fine and just started about a month or two ago.
Did you accidently stop the Content Management Service in DIM?
So you still see older content, it's just the new content that is not being added to the database? Can ypu load the content through itds location under Daz Studio Formats in the Content Library? Are you closing Daz Studio, immediately opening DIM, and then installing the content? That can lead to the dataabse being closed during the install - either elave a gap between closing DS and starting DIM or don't close DS at all (you can right-click onm the product container and selected refresh to get it to show the new files, if this solves the issue).
I just tried installing a package with studio open and I did a refresh. It wasn't there. The package was installed under
people/genesis 8 male/character
but not in the aphabetical section that I attached earlier.I just checked and installed an new package and it was not turned off. Thank you for the idea. Do you have any other ideas why this might not be working? The fact that smart content is not beingupdated with the new stuff is the real problem because I use that feature alot and often forget what characters I have, what hair I have, what accessories I have, etc.
So the product was installed but not added to the database - I assume there were no type-tags (Actor, Wardrobe, materials etc.) at top-right of the thumbnails in the Contnt Library?
Correct. The product was installed but the database was not updated. Neither was smart content. I just checked. I have two and a half pages on purchases that were not updated. The database is obviously still there because I'm seeing my earlier purchases. I tried removing with DIM and reinstalling with DIM but that didn't do anything.
Smart Content is using the database - everything except the ... Formats containers 9and the Daz Connect containers within those) uses the database.
I would suspect that an update to your security software is now blocking DIM's ability to write to the databsae, but not DS' abaility to read from it. Can you make datasbe changes inside DS (e.g. right-click on a file>Group Assets As>New on one that has lost its New marker? If ytou can does the chnage persist after restarting Daz Studio?
I'm clicking "new" but it keeps defaulting back to "none". The only security that I'm running is the free version of Avast.
If the group isn't sticking either then it seem that nothing can edit the database, but that it is readable. You might try disconnecting from the web (the whole PC, not just the Daz soiiftware), turning Avast off, and seeing if you can then mark a file as New successfully. Either way, turn Avast back on and reconnect to let us know what happens.
