Disable Forced Light in Perspective View when no other light is present.
Updated from older version of DS recently and slowly dealing with all the new features. One is really frustrating though.
For whatever reason some sort of basic lighting is being forced into Perspective View now, when no other light is present, this shows both in Iray and Texture Shaded modes. Camera Views behave correctly.
This is infuriating as I use this mode to find all sources of light, especially emissives, that often are hidden around prepared scenes so I can set up my own lighting.
Is there some way to toggle this feature or outright disable it? Adding a single spotlight brings back the correct behaviour but thats not what I am after. This is not related to the Ctrl+L fake lighting as that one only works in Texture Shaded and not in Iray.

Maybe it's the perspective view autolamp ?
Open the Render Settings panel > General > Autolamp and set the later to never and see if it has solved the problem.
That does actually fix the issue in Iray which is what matter so thanks a lot for that.
Now I need to figure out how to make this into a default setting for every scene....
I don't remember having to disable it for every scene, so I think once set in the General tab of the Render settings panel, it'll be the default setting for every new scene. But you may have to change it in the scenes already saved.
