G9 Pose Problems/Animate Timeline
Why can't I get G9 poses to showup in the timeline, like in the picture I've attached? Why is there no option in the lower left hand corner of the timeline to add a G9 character that only shows the G8 options? I've purched what I thought was every program to help, but I'm still struggling. I can get the G8 characters to animate just fine, but am I missing something in the Antiblocks section that adds G9 poses? Am I even asking the right questions? Here is simply what I'm trying to achieve - After I load a G9 Anime character, I want to go to G9 poses, load that pose or drop it onto a timeline if that's even an option, add more poses, then when I play the timeline they animate together. Please advise if you can help, link me to a tutorial or program to purchase, or even connect me with an AI robot I can talk to! Thanks - Skiman

There are very few Genesis 9 AniBlocks, those for older figures will not do much useful due to the diffrences in the skeletons.
Got it, thanks for the response. So any chance you can walk me through the process of how I pull G9 poses into the timeline, or link me to a tutorial? When I try to pull a G9 pose in, it just dissappears. Does that mean I have to change the timeline to reflect G9 characters somehow. I honestly am so lost, or even know if I'm asking the right questions?!
The pane you are showing is AniMate (Lite or 2, depending on how long Daz Studio has been installed and whether, after 30 days, you have a license for AniMate 2). It isn't the Timeline, which is where you will see (but not apply) non-AniBlock poses.
Do I create a new pane? A new Timeline? Am I even talking the talk? If it's a software issue or a program missing, I will easily buy it. I simply want to animate multiple poses next to one another, but honestly have no idea what direction to start with. Anymore advice would be so welcome. Thanks Richard - Ski

"Animated Motion Poses for Genesis 9 Toon & Genesis 8 Female", right? I don't actually own this product, so I'm not sure, but I believe this product contains static pose data, not dynamic motion data.
At least it doesn't look like a product that includes aniBlocks for aniMate.
(Has anyone else actually purchased this product?)
If it is a product that includes dynamic motion data, even if it is not aniBlock, applying the included Animation file to the character should create a series of keyframes in the Timeline Pane and produce dynamic results.
(The way to open the Timeline Pane is as Richard wrote.)
*ex. SS1
If it is only static pose data, applying poses to the character at several points on the Timeline will automatically interpolate the motion between each pose. *ex.SS2
If the automatically interpolated pose is unnatural, you can manually adjust the pose of the intermediate frames to achieve a more natural motion.
Thank you so much for the information and also for sharing your frustration just like I'm having. There doesn't seem to be a clear answer out there, so I'll keep poking around until, unfortunatly, I have someone explain it step by step because I'm still learning the DAZ program! - Ski
LOL Sooooooooooo I get it now. To Richard and CEC3D, I figured out your instructions. THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME BE A MORON!!
