V3 glows in UE5

V3 glows in UE5 when lit and i don't know why sad

her clothing doesn't, it's just her mesh no matter what material I apply

it's driving me nuts as I wanted easy lowpoly extras for my scenes (use the old legacy figures a lot in UE4)

she animates perfectly etc

this is an FBX import fixed in iClone 3DX6 but that doesn't seem to be the issue as Genesis 9 (and others) work fine done that way

a static mesh glows too

(I just use it for ease of applying animations to any generation)

the faces are black in the viewport lit (glowing rendered in game along with the skin the same material on a cube is fine)

honestly I have had it with UE5

UE4.27 rocks

I spent this time refitting the same outfit to V9 and exported her directly from D|S4.23

she works no glow but I need to redo without the Henin as it doesn't parent directly from DAZ

(drag separate prop onto a head socket)

however I ran out of VRAM with her crying as I was afraid

As it seems to be unrelated to the material, it sounds to me a bit as if you got some kind of geoshell over the face? Maybe two surfaces directly over each other on the mesh or something like that? I might be completely wrong of course, but I would try to check out the mesh and maybe the V3 BP you are using in the scene.

I'm still working a lot in 4.27, too, btw - I love UE5 for Metasounds, but some stuff I was relying on in a big project stopped working so I couldn't switch that one to UE5...

Also, offtopic, but how and why are you using iClone when converting from Daz to UE if I may ask?
