Does Foundation Weight do anything?

I just now discovered the makeup system for Genesis 9 (you guys hid it well), but when I use one of the presets in the Basic Foundations folder and then try to adjust it with presets in the Adjust Weight folder, nothing happens. I've tried Weight 02 and Weight 10 and there is no difference. Can someone explain how these work? Thanks in advance.

Here's how they work.... with a bug:

    - When applying a Foundation preset, Makeup slot on G9 Head surface will be turned on and the preset Color will be set on Foundation Layer in LIE. Default Opacity value on Foundation layer in Makeup Weight slot is 0.6. (ss 1 ~ 2)
    - When applying a Weight preset, Opacity value will be changed on Foundation layer in Makeup Weight slot. For instance Weight 02 preset sets 0.2 in Opacity. However, the generated LIE image with 0.2 Opacity is not updated in Makeup Weight slot (ss 3 )
    - You have to manually open LIE in Makeup Weight slot... Accept. Then you'll see the correct result with 0.2 Opacity. (ss 4 ~ 5)

It's a bug from the Script(s).  Thanks for discovering it ! I'm gonna fill a ticket to report the bug ~~

Ah, thank you for identifying the problem! I wondered why the Opacity wasn't changing when I applied presets, and that was the whole issue. Thanks for reporting it as well, much appreciated.

Happy holidays! Josh and I's LIE Makeup Manager script has foundation weight built in and you can see changes in realtime with Iray preview, it also allows weight to be controlled for lips, blush eyeshadow etc plus loads of other features! If you're interested, here is the store link: https://www.daz3d.com/lie-makeup-manager
