The thing is, it's rather hard these days if you feel like maybe spending 20 dollars or so on new 3d shinies, because prices only move into the affordable range once you spend at least 40 or 50 bucks. The WL sale running right now is a great example. I've had 5 things for that sale in my cart for days now, and I do like their prices; but I don't want to have to spend 10 extra bucks on the buy-in that I wouldn't normally buy at that price, and that I will probably not use much. More generally, I just don't want to keep spending 50 dollars or more with every cart here, it's just not sustainable.

When I see that the cart price is more than I'm willing to pay, I clear the cart. Then I try to remember what I had in the cart. Usually I can't even remember much of it. I decide that means I didn't really want it that bad.

That's good advice. Usually, it'll work for me, too. But this time I'm so in love with the fluffy new Hnc24 Mustang jacket and the shack for the new fall vignette of the simple grasslands expense that I just can't seem to let them go like I should ...

So the bottom line in getting deals here now seems to be, find the perfect time to buy just one month of Premiere, right at start of March Madness is probably the next best time. And then go hog wild with strategically placed mega shopping sprees to get the most stacking. Long gone are the times of 45% off Gift Cards or $15 yearly memberships and casually sipping at sales late night when the glitches happen. I don't care for it to be honest. I haven't been a member since it was basically the "plant of the month" club. I got tired of that. Now ironically I use those plants in UltraScenery. funny how that worked out.

Then that means you DO want them and that you will be sad if you don't get them. As to the Mustang Jacket, I bought it when it was released (back when I had more than $0 store credit). I was disappointed that it turned out that the fur was just displacement and didn't look that good close up. Maybe you can part with it after all. Hmm, it looks like I didn't even keep the render to show you.

    Edit: Oh, I found it.

If you get Premier, the first step is to build tokens on Monday and Thuesday because instead of 1 token per $5, you'll get 2 per $5. Then you keep an eye for the moment to use them.

You're a wise parrot, you are.wink  I ended up making a compromise a minute ago, threw out some small stuff and brought the price down to a more acceptable level. Thanks for the jacket render, cool close up! I only saw it after the fact, but no matter. Yeah, fur doesn't look so great, but I have loads of fluffy shaders that will fix that. And I luuuuuv experimenting with them. I also got the shack and the Irezumi tattoos. They're so beautiful, I couldn't resist. But now I'm quite happy with the overall outcome.

Great. I'd like to see what you can do with the jacket fur with your shaders. That's a good idea.

one should not start that one month of Premiere right at the start of the month, but wait a couple days, to have more time and options to use the coupon(s) in the next month, before the Premiere month runs out.

In case of March Meh-ness it might even be better to check the "deals" first, and then only join Premiere when something turns up, that is worth the investion wink

Agree! At least a few days! And waiting for the right offer works too.

following my request for description on money savings, here is my today cart ... 90% off with no free items to skew the results. The New Release was 51% off, but all others ended up at 94% off.
All DO items most of which were already marked 67% off. Then my DO Premier $10 coupon, plus 8 tokens, whihc were 45% DO items. I picked up 5 tokens as well with the purchase. OH--included one new release from "comic" releases for today, dForce HnC24 Women's Suit Outfits for Genesis 9 | Daz 3D. Its pretty stiff looking but sharp. Yes, the price is $15.39, but by adding it to my cart the total price of the cart actually went down by $6, so it was like getting it free. All of the DO items came from todays featured artists category

50% off "Comic" Featured Artist Stores

    Toon Artists Included!

65% off* with any "Comic" New Release
Get an extra 20% off* when you include 3 or more

    CART: $28.44  total value: $284

I think the hot place just froze over... all four items on my LD were from my WL.

...of course, none of them were at prices I consider a "deal" so there is that.

. Middle of the month is good, especially if only buying into Premier intermittently. That way the  first month's fee (or first month after a 1+ month break) will get you 2 sets of coupons. The second week of the month also means you are likely to have the greatest selection of new character bundles for free - a big deal for me, given Daz has so far been quicker to remove older character bundles than add them. Also many annual sales the last couple years have started off Ho-hum then gotten much better.

30% off for being new and 35% off for Premier members.

    0.7 x 0.65 = 0.455 or 54.5% off (labelled as 55% off)

If you missed it, there is a (possibly new) Memberships entry in the top menu bar. Clicking on Compare will lead you to the page with all three levels compared (obvious is my middle name blush):

So, price jumped up $7, but I don't see any info about what makes it better than the previous G9 version? No discount for owners of the previous G9 version? I'm not very tempted. I don't have any store credit anyway. So pass.

Thank you for pointing this out @barbult. I also bought the previous version and compared the two promo pages. The main difference I can see is the neck and some different wording on the elbow. I will put the new one on my wishlist so if it comes up on a good discount, I will get those bends for their cost and not repeat paying for the ones I already paid for.

Apologies, another basic question: how long does the introductory discount usually last again?

Okay, who else is unreasonably amused that dead center under "Ride to Battle" is the "All the Rabbits" bundle?

Any of them could be the Rabbit of Caerbannog. Or you may be ridding to battle in Australia, in which case, rabbits will be a major problem for your opponent blush

And I'm sure @Matt_Castle has a way to get a fully armored rabbit into a render with a mouse rider, wrecking havoc in a line of fully armored giants.

I'm sure there is a thing called a cat bussmiley

In DAZ, I believe any animal can be ridden as long as the proportions are adjusted appropriately.

There was a young lady of Nicaragua
Who smiled as she rode on a jaguar
    They returned from the ride
    With the young lady inside
And the smile on the face of the jaguar

    or something like that.
