Pixels in nvidia view

All of a suddent, I am seeing pixelation in my nvidia view. Not sure if I accidentally clicked something or what. Renders are fine, it's just when I watch in the viewport. Thoughts? Advice?

  • What do you mean - usually pixellation means large squares, a lack of resolution, but people often use it to mean noise, random dark and light pixels on areas that should have a fairly uniform colour. If it is noise, most likely your render is dropping to CPU or not using the GPU at all - which might be due to too old a driver, or lack of memory. How does a render of a sphere primitive sitting on a plane look?

When I restarted DS it was fine. But to answer your question, it looked like tiny squares so the image was a touch blurry.

Like sort of effect of mosaic... yes I've encountered a couple of times. IIRC, typically when change smoothing iterations when Iray preview.
