Lengthen Pant Legs of Jeans

Haven't used Hexagon much but was wondering if it could be used to lengthen the pant length of some jeans?

Is the character exported to Hexagon in A-pose or in a pose like below?

Is anything else need for transferring and receiving?

I understand that Hexagon make a morph slider in Daz to adjust the parameter, is that correct?

No adjustment morph on the jeans ? If so.... I remember you have Mesh Grabber 3.0 correct ?  You can easily fix it in DS:

    1) Alt Shift + G to activate Geometry Editor, with Polygon Selection Type + Marquee Selection Mode, select the lower part of the jeans (ss1).

    2) Alt Shift +E to activate Mesh Graber, drag and push until you're satisfied with the result (ss2). The trick is while dragging and pushing, shrink the polygon selection by pressing Ctrl + - (minus on num pad) and Ctrl + Mid-Mouse button to shrink the mesh grabber gizmo... to assure the mesh looks good, i.e. stretching no more no less..

Better do it when the figure is in A-pose... then if the jeans are fully symmetrical, you can tweak both sides at the same time (ss1 ~ 2.)

I don't know Hexagon but just use Blender. It's also very easy to adjust the length in Blender by using Grab brush + Symmetry. Then import as an adjustment morph. (ss 3 ~ 6)

  • @crosswind Does the character and jeans need to be exported to Blender from Daz?

Last time I had troubles exporting from Blender and importing to Daz. The clothes went haywire.

If you want to make it with Blender, yes, you need to export them both.

As for the export / import settings, I gave the correct ones in the above thread. If you still cannot make it, check this video: https://mega.nz/file/qeg10B5S#YYCh1mmeKcvL4IprIt0UJAP6eJsOZUIm4MRgaw0zU2M
