How to get definitively rid of duplicate formulas and other weird things ?
French people are known to be able to be quite rude whenever some kind of [unpleasant] situation arises. (Otherwise, we are quite pacific, only obsessed by food, bread, cheese and art, plus sometime wines, And airplanes, rockets and nuclear power station more or less stable...)
As far as Daz, I'm ashamed, it's the case ... After downloading quite a bunch of stuff from here and there, not Daz certified, loading a G8 figure now takes an awful time. As for G9, I finally don't know how the regular unimmesh is supposed to look like "IRL".
As an MD, I could post lot sorts sort of species of really weird specimen (formalin included !), it's a kind of museum of horror of birth defects...
I happen to have a brother who worked for SAP for more than 30 years at a really high level. He was a presale engineer in pre-production level.
May I suggest that you employ such a guy in your process ?
All these duplicate stuffs are certainly needed for quality control, but for the final user it's a real PITA
Thanks

If it's not from Daz3D it can't be their fault if there are duplicate formulas.
I know there's a way to fix duplicate formulas but I'm on my mobile and can't look it up at the moment - but Google "How to fix duplicate formulas Daz3D forum" should pull up a helpful thread or two. :)
This is not an application issue, it is a data issue - usually two characters or morph sets that use the same generic names for properties, and so when they try to make a link (e.g. between a full character slider and the component head and body shapes, or between a shape and a joint adjustment) Daz Studio has no way to resolve it and has to report an error. Help>Troubleshooting>View Log file will tell which properties trigger the issue, one of bnoth need their names chnaging (ideally by the creator) to soemthing more unique (Daz studio itself does now add extra characters to this end, but older content or content that people hand-edit may lack that).
One of these crept into my G8F library this week. Good reminder for me to figure out which product is doing it and to request a refund if it's non-resolvable on my end. I missed the return period for the MB G9 products with unresolvable dupes, which are now uninstalled and hidden in DIM. Perhaps if we start returning these products - and stating why we're returning - someone at Daz may decide to do something about it. Specifically because it's a data problem, it's really not difficult to automate the detection of. No SAP needed, whatever that acronym means. Just a half-decent engineer will do.

Ah, I misread it as a role!
I believe at least some of these have been fixed.
Some have, but not Charece and Sarice, two of MB's earlier characters. I find that such a shame because MB is clearly talented and brings a lot to the store.
