Petite is not 5' 10"

Tyhe character add-onn  ashley 9 petite should be 5' 2" or less. Petite refers to height, not frame size.

    Ashley 9:
    Height: 5' 6.7" (169.3 cm)

    Ashley 9 Petite Shape:
    Height: 5' 10.8" (170.8 cm???)

So the "petite" version is 4" taller. Makes sense.

Yes, I found it interesting that Ashley 9 Petite is taller and has larger bust, waist and (slightly) hips than the Base Ashley figure! I wonder if they got the Measure Metrics stats the wrong way round?

I also noticed though that the metric to inches conversion has gone wrong for her height: 170.8 cm is just over 5ft 7in, not 5ft 10in!

  • I don't know why we are still getting these kinds of shapes in addition to the normal form.  Height and form sliders are easy to acquire and utilize-what really helps are more unique forms like an elf, demon, angel or something of that nature.  As for the petite description, I thought the same thing (and 5'10'' is absolutely not petite, ask any woman of that height and watch the response).  And also also, speaking of height and elves, here's a comparison between Ashley 9, her petite form, and the human form of Lianna 9.

Lianna 9 is her reported 183.8 cm (a true 6 footer)

    Ashley 9 is approximately 161.5cm, about 5'4''.

Ashley Petite is NOT 5'10'', not even close.  She's 160.67 cm, which is a hair over 5'3''.  And that is considered petite.

I am also using measure metrics and have no idea how they came up with these heights.  It's an error they need to correct.  The petite form IS smaller in both height and frame, but not by a lot.  It's hard to tell which one is petite unless you look closely.  Personally, it reduces the value of the addon shape.

What's strange is her measured height for both forms are not even close to the listed ones.  I think they just measured wrong, but when you compare them, it's easy to tell.

When you unsub from Premier, you lose the assets exclusive to it only.  Presumably, when the payment cycle ends.

The character bundles are not exclusive Premier content, though - once claimed as freebies they remain in your content library even if your membership lapses.

Richard I was hoping one of my replies would have marked your 101,000.  I'll go for the next milestone.

To me, anything under 6 foot is petite.

Eye of the beholder and stuff.

Actually, it's both, and personally I associate it more with build than height.

I agree, its a bit of both.  Women under 5'4'' and with small frames are generally considered petite.  I wouldn't say a 6 foot woman is petite, though, even if she's wafer thin.

  • Petite is purely a matter if height, not build.  As stated on Jeetly.com

    • Petite refers to stature not weight. Most people still think petite means skinny when in fact petite has nothing to do with weight.
    • Petite is the term used in the fashion industry to describe a woman who is 5'3 tall or under.
    • Petite women come in all shapes and sizes, whether they're a size 4 or 14.

a matter of height. Specifically, as defined in Jeetly.com:

It does not mean skinny or thin, just short, specifically, a woman at or under 5'3". If she is any taller than that, she s not "petite".

No, what I mean is that I got Vicky 9 bundle, bought Mikey 9 bundle, failed to use the coupon or buy the Lawrence 9 bundle and a couple of others, and now I can't use my premier bundle couple to get those bundles anymore even if I wanted too because they are no longer listed as available.

So, how long was Vicky 9 available there? 21 days? Mikey 9, 21 days? Lawrence 9, 21 days? Based on this schedule I will get the Lycan 9 bundle next as it's the debut bundle that's been around longest since the advent of Premier.

Also: why not put a countdown on the available days left for each bundle listed in the Premier kitty? So the last day in the kitty would be listed in an hourly countdown to zero.

My wife is 5'1, and I wouldn't describe her as "petite".

edit: also, have you read a little bit further down the link you posted? It makes several references to body shape, including that a woman over 5'3" could be petite in their upper or lower body, so it's very self-contradictory. Short means short; petite means short AND thin.

also also, why was jeetly.com your source? Here's what dictionary.com has to say:

relating to or being a woman who is short and has a small, trim figure; diminutive: The sash accentuates her petite waist.

    She is a petite brunette.

The sash accentuates her petite waist

Based on western culture norms petite size would be 5' 4" or less in height, but petite is really about clothing size not height.

There's a good chance you've come across clothing labeled as "petite size" while browsing clothing racks or shopping online. Developed by fashion designer Hannah Troy in the 1940s, petite sizing is designed for people who are 5'4" and under.(1)

Ah, super short and petite?  I know someone who's 5 feet even and she struggles.  She calls herself petite because she's also very slim.  I'd say Ashley's petite form is correct with her actual measurements.
