Thanks for the toon render @3Diva - love that!  I was late to the party with FilaToon but I'm enjoying the images coming out.  Especially love what you did there, the outfit and the background heart  I hope we get more of that kinda of stuff made available, eg I'd love to see a pack of toon backgrounds or vignette scenes in the store because I just don't have the patience to apply the shader to existing ones myself lol.

Thank you @Tempesta3d for the "Hairy Bits" and @Elleque for today's dishes!  Everyone's doing a great job with this year's freebies!  It's understandable why sometimes not everyone can participate and there's no judgement.  Everyone does what they can and the bills do need to get paid.  Nobody should be fulfillling the "starving artist" stereotype for the sake of freebies.  Even the paid content sometimes doesn't get enough love but thanks to those who do by supporting all the PAs here and in other communities!

Hi all, just wanted to say I'd love to be a position to offer freebies at some point in the future but currently it's just not feasible. I've only recently started doing content creation full time and it's been a mixed bag with product sales so all my effort currently needs to go into commercial products as one needs to be able to pay their bills! I hope you understand and happy holidays :)

Of course we understand. Only a small number of all the PAs offer holiday freebies. If you don't, people don't think less of you. Sometimes a little freebie can introduce new customers to your products, though. It could pay off in the end. The extra 20% off the freebie-giver's store gets me to buy more of their products now, too. So, there are tradeoffs to consider. You must do what is best for you.

Speaking for myself, I have bought multiple items that I didn't even have wishlisted from the 20% off freebie PA stores.

Hi, I came here for the first time because an automated notification informed me of this place.  Happy to see the render which uses my item so soon!  I assumed I had to make an item appropriate for Christmas every year.  Last year, I didn't come up with anything until just before the submission deadline.  And I stopped pretending to know things cheeky  It is still long days until Christmas.  I'm looking forward to get the next freebies, too!

    Nice render, Amaranth!

Yes!  Very nice render @Amaranth!!  I like how you made the apron.  I had initially planned to make some pants, a skirt and a braids (female) version.  Maybe someday in an expansion pack...  Seems you managed it without me.  wink

While I have been collecting the freebies daily, I have been setting up a new computer and clearing out the old one and have itched to try them out. I finally had time to delve back into this thread. I love all of the renders everyone and my thanks to all the PAs. As I reinstall my products onto the new system, it is amazing how many of previous years Christmas freebies are prioritized to be installed in the early days. And yes, I enjoy buying from the PAs' stores.

But the talent of all the artists who have rendered here and the humor of Richard (aka @Barbult) amazes me. Thank you all for a happy start to my day.

Any render with Richard is better than a render without Richard! (IMO) I'm glad you are entertained.

This image is vivid and lively!  His excellent nose caught that I had put a thing in the casserole.  I actually used tuna flakes instead of anchovies to flavor the potatoes.  Anchovies are too salty for cats.

Tuna is Richard's favorite food. He can sniff it out anywhere.

Except that hands are needed for tinned tuna.

Could you not manage a ring-pull can? I'd have thought your claws would be ideal to hook it up and pull?

How is it I miss that cans of tuna come with pull tabs? Every one I've bought, you need a can opener. I must be buying the wrong brand, or our area doesn't have common scenes anymore. I just opened one a half hour ago for one of our cats.
