Best way to clear all facial expressions?

Is there an easy way to zero out all the facial expressions on G9 or G8? With all the different expression packages I've got and the combinations I use on various figures, it takes forever to set them all back to zero by hand.

I've looked around in the program and can't find anything that just seems to set the expressions to zero.  Each expression package comes with its own "zero" setting, but it usually doesn't touch any of the other package settings.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Load a G8 or G9 Base figure, make sure it is 100% Pose Zeroed. Save a Pose Preset as shown in the screenshot1 down below. Then zero expressions by using this Pose Preset. Be noted:

    1) Each time you installed an expression product, do the same to save a new Pose Preset;

    2) In case there's any expression property cannot be zeroed in this way, check its Parameter Settings, make sure its Path is set as Pose Controls/Head/... Type is set as Modifier/Pose, like the screenshot2.

    This is the most perfect way, as long as all properties related to expressions are set correctly.

    Edit: Some vendors especially from 3rd party sites do not abibe by the rule mentioned in above point 2), you have to correct them and re-save the Modifier Asset: File > Save as > Support Asset > Modifier Asset(s).... (or Morph Asset(s) in DS version prior to 4.23). Or in DS 4.23+, File > Save as > Support Asset > Save Modified Assets... and select the corrected properties.

  • Thanks! I did that early on when I only had 1 or two expression packages, but was hoping there was an easier way,  Like some magical hotkey.

    Guess it's time I update my zero expression pose.

    Thanks again!
