Any Advantage To Amelia 9 HD vs. Amelia 9 In General Use?
A recent Lightning Deal offered Amelia 9. I was just about positive that I had Amelia 9, yet here she was as a LD. As I was traveling at the time, and away from my desktop PC ("the Mother Ship") I couldn't verify that I already owned Amelia. Jetlag really affects me, and it didn't occur to me that I could've simply checked my asset library through DAZ. Sorry for the long intro-
My question is, since I already have Amelia 9 HD, is there any advantage to using Amelia 9? My understanding is HD assets are generally more useful for close-up renders. Would Amelia 9 load faster and be easier to pose and move around in a scene- would the HD version just be overkill?

The HD just adds details, it won't give you the base shape at all - so yes, if you want the Amelia 9 shape you do need the base you have just purchased (assuming you didn't already have it).
Amelia 9 was and is sold with the HD included, not split up into character and HD add-on, so I'm very curious what OP actually bought in their jetlagged state.
Zicon, you're absolutely right- I only have Amelia HD in my product library, and I see that it includes non-HD Amelia. During one of the recent big sales my Lightning Deals put up a few G9 characters, which I was happy to buy, but my attention was focused on the big sales. Right after that, I went on my trip. A lot of my recent DAZ activity is a bit of a jumble right now. I must be confusing Amelia with another recent purchase. I'm glad for a bit of a lull in good sales right now- I need to recover from these last ones!
