Modern and Sci-Fi clothing and armor

I am looking for modern and sci-fi armor and clothing that is functional, not sexy bare midriff, high heels stuff.  (and do not paint and wrap around female breasts! sheesh)

Google "Mass Effect Armor" to understand what I mean.  There are work uniforms and combat armor that actually look like they would be issued to real troops. (note: gear does not need to be a copy of these, not suggesting copyright infringement)

Hopefully a vendor will take this to heart... I suspect I am not alone wanting this sort of product.

There is also N7 sets from Mass Effect on FoRender, however, unless you want to use exactly the same set, you'd need to retuexture them. I have used the sets myself, and have just used shaders and self-made textures to make personal renders.

No,you are not the only one wanting non-sexy armor/sci-fi clothing. One thing I would love to see would be cyberpunk syle armor like lether jackets with armored plates in them sort of like some of the motorcyle gear thats out there. here anre some examples

As far as I know, the Poser stuff will work fine in DAZ Studio 4.9; I've done renders of characters using Poser stuff in slightly older versions and they looked all right.

I love the 'Exo Suit' stuff, but the footwear is far too unnecessarily chunky. Same goes for the 'Mech Gear' set for Genesis 2: Beautiful helmets, but the footwear is utterly impractical for anything but Japanese animation-inspired stuff.

'Planet Explorer' for G2M (allegedly auto-fits to G2F, but I haven't verified that) is very impressive for a realistic-looking futuristic-styled space suit.

I just saw http://www.daz3d.com/kimi-style-for-genesis-3-female-s   today and bought it because it had morphs for wrinkles and a breast bridge.

It works well, although if you go crazy with character bust size it still wraps,  but no complaints from me!

Some vendors are indeed listening.  Support them with your money and maybe there will be more items like these forthcoming.

I own most of the scifi gear. I think sadly the content sold here at daz isn't as good as xurge's or hell fish/Dariofish at rendo although there are a few good sets.
