Is this included in the recent DS4, or has it been discontinued?

    The separate plugin was discontinued as of version 4.0, IIRC, when it was integrated into the base program.

    It's just called Layered Image Editor, or LIE, and is included in the current version 4.23.

    Layered Image Editor is still a plugin in DS and you can always access to the editor in any mappable slot on a surface within Surfaces pane.
