Hi, I just downloaded DAZ Studio so I'm fresh new to DS and stuff.
Daz Install Manager set a default folder location to my C disk but the thing is I dont have space in C disk. I tried to change the folder as ''D disk'' but every time I close the DIM or delete the ''cms'' folder in ''C'', it somehow resets back to its default settings and I can't transfer the plugins or necessary plugins to my D disk.
I really need help, what should I do?

I would suggest to not change or delete the CMS part, at least not first. Move only the Content Path.
Copy all the files from your Library in C to the new location on D.
Open DIM and go to advance settings --> Installation Tab.
At the bottom, add the new path on D.
Change the shortcut, then delete the one in C.
Close settings(Accept), wait for DIM to reload or click Refresh.
Close and open and see if it was saved correctly.
Is Daz Studio open when you make the change? Have you tried making the chnage in Daz Studio (Edit>Preferences>CMS Settings) with DIM closed?
Note that changing the location won't copy the existing database across, one of the possible reasons for making the change would be to have a separate set of data and copying would defeat the object of that, so unless you want to start clean you shouldn't delete the existing database before copying it over (with all applications that use it closed).
I want the products I download go to the D disk as if it's a default settings. The products and plugins I download always goes to my C disk.
It worked but the products I download still goes to my C disk, meaning I have to do it in your way if I want to transfer my plugins or products to the D disk.
I've tried making the change in Daz Studio too, but it still didnt work. Every time I download something, it directly goes to my C disk. So you're saying that I created two different set of data in both C disk and D disk?
