Two cameras at once

Is there a way to do an Insert second camera view (like picture in picture for television) without post processing? Obviously you can render each camera view separately and then put it together in an image editor. But I'm asking if a "feed" from a camera can be live in the view of a second camera.

If it's for a non animated render, the easiest way is to first render the second camera view, then use that render as a texture for the final render.

How you use your 'camera view' render will depend: if it's for a non emissive prop (like a photo portrait pinned on a wall), you can either use it as the Base texture or as a Diffuse overlay texture if you want to mix a paper texture with the photo.

As an example, this portrait ended included in another render, pinned on the wall.

If it's for an emissive prop, you can use your render as a Base and Emissive texture. This portrait was used on the back of the digital camera in this other render.

If you're unlucky, the UV map of the surface where you want to insert your camera view render will not be usable as it is and in this case, you will either have to add a primitive right on top of the prop, or edit the UV map (I had to do it to use the second portrait in another render, but I can't explain how to do it: I mostly fumbled my way in Hexagon and ended with a correct result).

If it's for a animation, I don't know how to do it.

Regardless, what you are saying is, it must be done in two steps.

    Thanks.
